  1. Original (27 Dec 2013): (I removed my original posting) (13 Feb 2014): He met with some difficulties and after discussion, he indicated that he will continue to complete our reno. I shall expect his workers to continue next week. Shall update then. (18 Feb 2014): Met him for discussion on contract works. Understand that his company had some foreign workers issue. He managed to bring in another carpenter to take measurements. Positive effort even when his company has obstacles. Hopefully he can resolve his foreign workers issue and proceed with my reno. Shall update when there is progress. (19 Feb 2014): His workers came to do shower screens (28 Feb 2014): Start carpentry. Workmanship not bad (11 March 2014): Done most his jobs. Left with air-con and a data point. However, air-con issue may not be that easily resolved. Apparently, there are issues btw his company and the air-con sub-contractor. We had the air-con trunking done (last year) so it was a half-way job. Shall see what happens. (29 March 2014): Sub-contractor came and complete installation of air-con units. Pending 1 data point and small items here and there, but I guess I should be thankful that most of the things are done and delivered. I close my case. Finally my house reno is considered complete.
  2. oops, i realise i am not ableto attach picture. But for a 5 room HDB living room of dimension about 7715mm by 5400 mm, is 10 LED donwlights of appr 8W sufficient to ligh up the place?
  3. Hi, A qns on LED lights required for a HDB flat. I am thinking getting contractor to build false ceiling and L box as shown in pic. L1 to L12 are the normal LED round downlights. However,my wife wants the LED downlights to be small (means she doesn't want the diameter of LED casing to be larger than 6 inches. So for a 5 room flat, will 10 LED lights of 8~10 Wattbe able to light up the Living room? Or is it too dim and we need at least 12or 16W? Thanks
