  1. Hi Jerome, Like renotm, i am also looking for a built-in oven. Any good offers on hand? Cheers Ben
  2. Hello all, We recently purchased a resale condominium. The unit is 1313 square feet and has 3 bed rooms and no balcony. The previous owner (we are the third owner) did some their renovations about 2.5 years ago, so the general stuff still looks okay. So this is what we don't need: - hacking of floor tiles( it is is marble!!!) - no need to redo floors of rooms (it is parquet!!!) - no need false ceiling (at least in the living room) - no need to redo the kitchen These are the major things we are looking at: - Overhaul of toilets (master and guest) - Carpentry work for master, guest rooms, living room - Painting of whole house theme: modern, contemporary, - white base, with some splash of color to make the place look bright and inviting What's the budget that i should work with? Feel free to share your inputs and also things that i may have missed out. Many thanks for your inputs! Cheers Ben

  4. thanks for the note. I am looking for clear glass panels .. not sure if they do it in glass.. any idea how much is the cost of the PD door?
  5. Hi all, I am looking for contractors to do bi-folding glass panel doors. Something like those retail shops in the mall, where we can slide out the glass panels to form a wall. my kitchen is open concept, i.e. i hacked down the wall to open up the entrance .. hee,hee.. so now, instead of the sliding glass panel door, i want to keep the kitchen entrance "open".. so which means, when i do massive cooking, i slide out the panels (eg. 3-4 panels) and when i don't cook, i can fold the panels to one side. any idea on the cost and who could do it? cheers

  9. thanks for the note. I just did a trip to JB, Taman Molek area. Several furniture shop there. The prices are generally a bit cheaper than what we get in singapore. Of course i have not included the GST or levy stuff. saw some furniture that we were quite interested in. Seems to have a little bit more variety.. just thought i gave some feedback.

  12. Hiya everyone! I was thinking of going JB, Taman Molek area to take a look. One of my friend bought their sofa, dining table, chairs, coffee table from there.. very nice and good quality .. thinking of going there to source for furniture. I like modern furniture .. things like the ball chair, tulip chair etc... any advice and maybe recommendations for furniture place ? !!
  13. I am considering a open concept kitchen myself. a lot of my friends have told me not too, as the oil and smoke and cooking will go into the rest of the house ... unless you buy a super powerful hob (or is it hood?) .. I think constructing a wall is pretty affordable unless you want to something special. just my 2 cents worth.
  14. hiya, Would like to seek the advice of the folks here. I suggested to my ID that to save some cost, I would like to use epoxy paint instead of hacking and retiling the 2 toilets. Any pros and cons on Epoxy paint option?
