  1. Hi sforshor, I'm starting my reno soon and would like to know where you got your LED lights from. Can you share your contact via PM? Looking for down lights with 15W or higher. Don't know much about LED lighting so hope you can also offer some advice on what to watch out for. Thanks so much!
  2. I'm planning to redo my MBR and common bathroom, and is considering the following items which don't seem to be common in HDB flats. 1. Electric powered washlet: The type that are very common in Japan. I don't find many topics on this so need some advice. Anyone ever installed this before? I'm not sure what's exactly needed other than a 220V AC 50Hz supply required on some washlet models which I found online. 2. Instant heater for bathroom sink tap: I found this device from http://www.rheem.com/product/tankless-electric-water-heaters-tankless-electric-rte-3 . I don't want to install a storage tank heater or multipoint heater, so am thinking of this device which is mounted within a sink cabinet and is able to provide hot water to the bathroom tap on demand. Again, the big issue is how to supply power to this thing and if anyone is using a similar device. Thanks
  3. I'm about to redo my flat's kitchen and would like to know how the kitchen countertop's area is calculated. Basically, my current countertop is a 13x2 (26 square tiles) long rectangular configuration. Each square tile as I measured, is exactly 1ft x 1ft, i.e. 1 sq ft. The part that confuses me are the cut out areas where you put the sink and stove. Will these areas which will eventually be cut out, be still included within a contractor's material cost calculation?
