Hi, I’m using the original rod. The distance between ceiling to the blade is about 30cm after fixed the fan. And my ceiling height is 2.6m, so from the floor to the blade will left 2.3m. We are fine with this as my current flat also 2.6m height and was installed with ceiling fan.
