13. Shower Kerbs --- Headache 2 : HDB's contractor gave us wrong tiles (Kitchen's!) on a Saturday and went on urgent leave. No one could help to exchange for the correct tiles. As the tiler was already there and colour is still grey... I made a stupid decision and we went ahead to use. Silly me, I know .... but... it did not turn out that bad la... console me ! console me! Common bath Master bath I hope I won't make anymore silly mistakes..... Coming week: 1. Ceiling Fans Installation 2. Carpentry for kitchen and bathroom 3. Reconfiguration of Track-lights 4. Painting (Nippon Sail White for whole house and Tender for baby's room) 5. Shower screen and bathroom full length mirror installation Have a great week ahead!

Updates..... not really a happening week I must say, quite a few of stumbling blocks and I felt a tad disheartened... This week (end Feb): 1. Cement Screed by HDB contractor - Completed on Monday 2. Kitchen Base + Carpentry (next week) 3. Laminate Flooring for whole house (TBA after painting only) 4. Painting by another contractor (confirmed 9th Mar; unbelievable price!! I will review and recommend if he is good.) 5. Air-con installation - 27th Feb (completed - trunking all nicely done ) 6. Taobao order #1 via Amcon - delivered on 27th Feb, although CS was so-so, they are super fast! Will use again if needed. 7. Purchase of other lights 8. Ikea shopping (postponed to post-renovation) 9. Delivery of Kitchen/Bathroom accessories from Hoe Kee (delivered on 1st Mar) 10. Delivery of Hob, hood, fans, etc. (delivered on 1st Mar) 11. Arrival of Samsung lock from Qoo10---> received a scratched unit (DEEP ONE) & less items , awaiting seller to respond!, too troublesome to send back so I'll live with the ugly scratch on the panel 12. Lights installation - see below... Foyer light from Taobao --> I love it, bought another for my walkway Dining Pendant light from Ikea Baby's room light from Philips Light for other areas are pretty functional so nothing to show la.... Master Bedroom : A preview of the LED tracklights from TB ---> Headache 1 : I didn't buy connectors and enough tracks for the whole house and these cannot be cut... so electrician and ID will reconfigure with what they have on hand next week. Lucky they never Anyway, room is bright enough using the tracklights. I love the AWESOME effect, so cosy ! We are going to place 2 x 3m tracks instead to distribute the light evenly. Shorter tracks will be moved to the dining area which is half-done now. Can't wait to switch on ALL the tracklights and see the effect Continue to Page 4 for shower kerbs.....

Hi, All PMs sent. Very busy these days! All lights are up but me being a smartalec forgot to buy tracklight connectors so my living room lights are half connected. Oooops! My first batch of loots from TB are great! LOVE MY FOYER LED LIGHT! Will load photos on Sunday. Stay tuned. Yay, no need to see the house in darkness anymore!

Laminate Flooring for whole house (TBC) 4. Painting by another contractor - 8/9 Mar 5. Air-con - installation on Thursday! ID wanted to install lights asap but my TB track lights are still in transit via sea. He sounded disappointed that he has to wait. Oops. Painting will go after lighting then laying of laminate flooring is last. He wants to avoid unnecessary damage to the floor. Anyway, it's gonna be an exciting weekend ahead with my Hoe Kee and kitchen stuff arriving, not to forget about my ikea trip! Weeeeeeeee! From ikea- Bed Bedside tables Outdoor bench cum shoe rack Arm chair EXPEDIT bookcases Toy storage shelve unit Study table Cushion covers Etc...etc...etc Oh hotdogs too.... hahahaha! I'm very much inspired by plainsharon's blog... and I bought the same Samsung gadget! Samsung EZON SHS-1321 digital door lock. It's arriving on 26th Feb!

Ahhhh, let me show you what is my final dining configuration...a bit scandi-rojak Table Bench 2pcs each of these chairs - got beige chairs on purpose to create contrast else everything white./black very boring. Too bad no blue-green.

These are Kronoswiss, I paid $3.7k for 750sq. I was quoted $4.6k for krono-o. Difference I think it is design range. I loveeeee first one too. Fits the scandi theme perfectly. Just hope my selected furniture will match!
