Hi everyone, New to renotalk here. Thanks to all you guys out there for being so generous & sharing your renovation experience with us, it really helped when I need to shortlist a contractor for doing reno! Anyways, just for a short intro. We just had the 1st appt with HDB in Oct 13, now looking for 2nd appt with HDB in Dec 13. Currently looking out for a reliable contractor to entrust our 1st house to, have shortlisted a few to call from renotalk forumers as well as word of mouth reviews from colleagues. The previous owner stayed in the flat for around 16 years. The flat is clean but slightly run down. His floor tiles seem to be in pretty good condition, and considering the budget, we hope to keep the floor tiles. We expect major work to be done on the kitchen & 2 bathrooms, together with some repiping and repainting. Also, to construct a built in wardrobe and to reconstruct the store (previous owner tore it down). Budget about 25k or so. Possible you think? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
