  1. We were too busy to make any new post since we moved in two weeks ago. Finally just have time to share some of the home appliances and household items we bought since moving in. TV and gaming console Cooking table top: Fridge: Washer and rubbish chute, and also temporary bin from Garrett Popcorn Steam oven : and a picture of my favourite study room: Sadly to say, we are still waiting for our sofa and dining table to be in

  3. Hi Joeist, I've forgotten to remind you that we do not have any basin inside both our bathrooms as really not enough space for that. So we just have one common basin outside the common bathroom Cheers.
  4. A lot of you have asked how much did the blinds cost and I've told that the price included all the 4 windows. I'm sorry that I forgotten to share which are the 4 windows I meant. So basically the blinds for the 4 windows are as below: Living room: Common room: Master room: and Kitchen: Cheers!
  5. Hi Joeist, Thanks for the compliments Below are the pics for both our bathrooms. For the concealed pipings, you are right that HDB dun allowed but I think that was more like concrete conceal. What we did is used calcium silicate board to box it up only Besides, both our bathrooms are in original size and the shower area and WC were separated with glass divider ya Master bathroom: Common bathroom: Let me know if you need any further details. Cheers!
  6. Bro, the door handle was bought at Thye Seng Hardware in Sims Ave.

  8. Anyway you are referring to the main door handle bar right? or all of them?
  9. I really got no idea as it was bought by my ID. I will get back to you once I've checked with him. Cheers!
  10. Hi there, the lock is working good so far as do not need to hold the key, so kinda convenient de. In terms of user friendly..erm.. Initially before calibration is much more user friendly as it's able to sense quite a wide radius. However we need to calibrate it for safety purpose as not to let the lock open if the key is inside the house, and so the scanning area became smaller. For my case, I think it was due to the stairs before entering the door as the scanning would be better if the key is on the same level as the lock. So I think it shall work better if there is no stairs outside the door
  11. 2 digital systems.. erm.. if people could break in the first one, I'm sure they could break in the second one too. Unless both systems are different and maybe complex. It also doesn't make sense if you use digital lock on the main door, but need a key to open the gate But I think it's still safe enough to go without gate in Singapore ba
  12. Hi there, thanks for all the compliments I'm impressed by him too anyway. The tiles are superb especially the one in our master room and study room. I dunno how should I put it in words the feeling when you step on it Anyway all our tiles were bought from Hafary. Will PM you the other details
  13. Good question. We have not install any gate now until my ID found something nice and suitable for us ba So at the moment we were just protected by the Kevo
  14. That is why they include the fob with the lock so for non-iphone user could still use the lock. I use the fob too as I'm using Blackberry, and from their website they mentioned it will be compatible for Androids and BB 10 platform, in future I don't think it uses GPS for determining whether you are inside or outside, as the accuracy of GPS in a cell phone is easily much greater than the thickness of the door Just my own opinion I think it's more relying on the transmitted signal between the host and the slave.
  15. Hi dwinsplace, Thanks ya Actually the Kevo was recommended by one of my friend, and we bought it just like that before comparing with other smart locks We were always lazy to find others and compare. Maybe because that friend is a great filter so everything that came to our end should be either good, cheap, or practical For the lock, the set up was quite easy although we asked the lock specialist to helped us installed. But that uncle asked us why not installing ourselves since it was quite simple. You are absolutely right that the calibration was really tricky, especially for the fob given. Before the calibration, the lock could function in quite a wide radius. But to be on the safe side, we calibrated and it always failed until I placed it quite near to the lock. This means that I would need to place my fob at such near distance after it was successfully calibrated. Sien However, it wasn't too difficult to calibrate with iPhone. After all, I would say that the lock is cool and functioning well. Let me know if you need more details. Cheers!!
