Renovation completed! Some pics before moving in. While it's still consider neat. Still have lots of cleaning to do.. haha.. Sofa, dining table and chairs got from Star Living. Always dreamed of having a L-shaped sofa. Super love it! Ikea shelves and mirror. Install by my contractor.

Common Room (Parents room) Wardrobe Qoo10 Bought 2 storage seat from qoo10 for $68 each which will be place in the living room. Love it so much! Looks exactly like in the photos from the website. Highly recommended to anyone who wanted budget window seat. Though I will say it's abit unrealistic if you expect the comfort and quality to be the same as those that cost $300-$400. Continue Masterbedroom Door is up.. but I just don't understand why they just can't make this right.. does the door in india open this way!? Is that why they install it like this? Although it's installed the wrong way, i'm quite surprise the dog door can fit.. I suspect he change the whole door for me because the original hole they cut is bigger than the dog door itself. So after amending again, it's finally done right! Can't wait to let my dog try~ ^.^ Wardrobe New door laminate up Kitchen Fridge in!

Open - FAINT This is the image I show him as a reference What the **** are they thinking!!? Firstly, it's totally different from my example, next, if my dog can pull open the door, why would I need to make a extra door for her?? And they uses hinges, means it can open 1 way only and need to close yourself!! Apparently my contractor didn't check what his worker did. He was speechless too when he sees this and say he will take it back and ask them to fix. I was quite paranoid by now, and I don't believe that they can do this right, so i frantically went online and search for a dog door. I'm not sure how come I missed this site when I was researching a while back. There's actually a store in SG selling dog door! According to the owner, they are the only one that brings in the door. Although it can be purchased online, I choose to personally went down to the shop to see the actual product. The shop is quite small as they normally just do online orders instead of walk in. The owner is a nice guy, he shows and introduce us his product and advise us which size we should take for our dog. I bought 2 of these and ask my contractor to install. I'm not sure how they are going to make this looks nice as the hole that they cut is bigger than the door itself.. but he said he can do it.. so.. I can only wait and see.. Sorry for not being able to update (if anyone is waiting). My computer dies on me and kinda took my time to choose a replacement. Wondering if I should get a laptop instead since my work desk has shrink significantly haha.. anyway here's the updates! Continue Masterbedroom Platform Here's the touch up product of the the platform. On photo is not so obvious but still you will be able to see the 2 joint where the laminate meets. I like the laminate color but not the obvious joint. The other type of laminate that we like is a wooden kind, Not sure if its parquet but seems like something like that. But our contractor say that because of the compartment, it will be difficult to use that wood laminate and give me alot of reasons. So after much discussion, we've agreed to sealed up the compartment since that's the main reason why we can't change the laminate to wooden kind, and use that to relay. The result Though we have lesser storage space now, but I'm happy with the end result. Study table done as well The length is much shorter than I anticipated.. but since it's done, I'm lazy to go through the hassle again, just got to make do with this. Continue Masterbedroom Platform laminate up and study table The study table looks smaller than I anticipated. I wanted it to be longer.. Not sure if this will be able to fit 2 person, we are using desktop.. >.< I'm quite disappointed with the platform laminate.. the joint is very obvious imo.. is this suppose to be normal? @OceanEleven - Thanks for the review. The remote part should be fine with me as I'm using the default gate by HDB and it need to lock and unlock by keys which is even more troublesome. I've decided to go for this promo. Haven't spoke to them in person, just through watsapp. The attitude is very nice and accommodating. Will update again once they come to install. ^^

Kitchen Notice that area cut for stove is RIGHT UNDER the switch? When I highlight to my contractor, he say the switch can be relocate away, but will need additional cost as the tiles need to touchup ect. But I told him that it's not right as from the start we already agreed that the stove will not be in that position. It should only start after the switch. He agreed to shift stove more to the right. Very interested in the digital lock. Saw this promotion online. Anyone using this or any digital lock? Is it good? to be continue

Continue Living Room Shoe cabinet TV console - Initially wanted to get ikea tv console selling for 1.2k, After I check with my contractor, he's able to do it for 1440, so why not get him to do it? I'm sure his wood used will be of a much better quality that ikea.. and since the price difference is only 100+. Everything is to built to the floor. No suspended tv console ect as I don't want any dust to accumulate there and my dog hiding in there. Rather have more storage space. Masterbedroom Wardrobe - Not exactly what I imagine it will be.. after struggling for awhile, I've decided to change the door laminate! \ Platform for bed with storage

Figured it will be quite useful for lazy people like me Will be using curtains for all rooms and blinds for service yard. No window. Total cost for 4 fans including installation is $1,630.00. Think living room is 50", rest is 48".. can't really remember.. it's definitely more x compare to wall fans but the wind is quite strong even on med mode and can cover whole room (except for living room, probably need to buy a stand fan and place it somewhere), min to no noise, so i'm quite happy.

Been a while since I update because I was away for a holiday trip! Back to posting! Continue Painting almost done, left some touch up to do. Aircon trunking done too. Decide not to install aircon until renovation almost done. Fans up! Using SAMAIR. Living Room - 3 color led (white, day, warm) MBR - 3 color led (white, day, warm) BR2 - 1 color BR3 - 1 color 2 of the fans were shaking quite obviously, so I requested the installer to adjust. Really had to keep an eye on them.. i was thinking in my mind.. hey are you blind? Shake until like that you expect me to accept? Shoes Cabinet will be next on the list! To be continue..

Dining area - Centralizing lighting point with dining table, currently it's abit off. Dark grey for dining area and corridor My "dark dark" corridor haha Light grey for one side of the living room. Rest of the walls will be in white.

Electrical Works & first coat of paint Bedroom 1 - Shifting SVC and power point to more center of the wall, under the tv, so that the wiring won't go all over the place. Contractor will also built a small shelve/board above the point. Doing casing instead of conceal to save some cost. Will be putting bed at the original point, hence need to shift them out if not it will be block by the bed. Added 2 more power point. Bedroom 2 - Same as bedroom 1. shifting SVC and power point under the tv. Master bedroom - Add more power point, figured will need more as we'll place a tv here, probably our game console too ect. Shifting the original power point to the side. Will be placing our mattress here.

Flooring updates - Loving the homogeneous tiles! So far so good. Once tiles done, will be shifting the electrical points. Doggy testing the floor - feeling good!

Continue After we agreed on the quotation, we go ahead to choose the tiles. We were able to choose up to $3.20/psf tiles, in the end, the only tiles that we like cost $3.50/psf. My contractor agree to absorb the cost and we are done with tiles! Same design but 2 different tone. Lighter color will be in the living room, and the darker color in the bedrooms. The funny thing is, nothing is signed on paper. He just email me the quotes and I agree verbally. Is that normal? I've read alot of stories here saying everything must be in black and white if not it's hard to get them to do ect. Feel like taking a big risk here >.< Work started to be continue..

Yup, all the IDs I asked never do before and had to check with their contractor before they can get back to me lol. It's quite common overseas, though they probably do on their main door for the dog to go into the garden ect, but not in sg.. so i'm quite worried, not sure if he can do a good job as he seems uncertain until I show him some images i found online. Well, can only wait and see the result. *Finger crossed*
