  1. I am happy on how the lights have been installed and looked after installation. I have to give credits to my electrician, Ah Mong, who did a great job in installing them and his price is really reasonable!

I highly recommend him to anyone if you are interested in getting his contact! :good:

  2. The tracklights for passageway! I love how it looks like. There are 3 bulbs whereby 1 light will focus on each wall. I am planning to hang photos on each side of the passageway. The middle bulb will be pointed downwards to brighten the passageway!

  3. My Master bedroom light!

I used the same light in the master bedroom and common room.

I bought the black color 3 bulbs light with the thought of putting them in the living room. But after considering the color of my living room, I decided to order another set of lights for the living room instead and chosen 5 bulbs to make it brighter.

  4. My lights from TB are finally here and installed over the weekend. After that, I have patched the holes in the ceiling and painted the ceiling too!

    My living room lights!

I have chosen white color to match my living room's colour- mint color!

I thought the light bulbs are white color but it turns out to be slightly yellowish...

I love how the lights look in my mint color living room!

  5. The aircon trunking seemed a bit weird to me. There is no way to conceal the trunking??

Because there is a beam in the MBR toilet. The trunking needs to route like this as the aircon ledge is behind the wall of the mbr toilet. This is the shortest route and feasible route. I don't mind the trunking at all. I am weird but i prefer this way without concealing it so that in the event of any leakage, i will be able to detect quickly. Anyway, this is the only trunking niah... ;)

  6. The nyatoh solid door costs $290 each coz i requested it to be painted white. If not, it costs about $260-270.

I got them from Siong Door. I think they advertise on this forum too.

    Installation take about 1-2weeks.

Overall, service is good. I would recommend them! :)

  7. The past few weekends were spent in cleaning and washing the whole house...

The ultra dirty window!!! How could anyone not cleaned their windows?! :fire:

After 3 hours of cleaning and washing....

Despite more than 3 times of mopping the floor, the floor is still covered with dust. I am going to wash the floor instead of mopping the floor now. I will update with more photos later... Off to wash the floor now... Ciao...

  8. Ya ~ was told it is one of the quieter ones...but then could be my bias since I am also using Toshiba aircon. Hahaha....

I chose Toshiba coz it has that "self-cleaning" function and that the compressor is made in Japan and assembled in Thailand!

  9. Interestingly, my plumbing was also listed as "FOC" in my quote, but i guess that would be packaged into other components of the quote..but $2250 does sound pretty high to me for the scope that you have listed.

For City Gas connection, my ID arranged it for me, and i had a $120 sum charged to me in my utilities bill. This connection is only to my hood, not using gas heater

I heard that Citygas charges a fee if their plumber connects the gas pipe to the hood. My contractor said it costs around $80 or so. Hence, my contractor hired a certified plumber to connect it coz i felt that since the rates are similar, i rather use an outside source as i can save time.
