  1. Hi LHWH, It is from comfort design somewhere in ubi. We bought it for $129. There are other colors as well. Go check it out! They have sales and promotions every now and then. Cheers!
  2. Hi wishfulthinking,The floor area is even at the hacked wall. Just that you have to redo the parquet at that area. Our id told us that we need to do grinding to make the parquet blend together with those in both rooms. However, we did not do that but it still looks nice to us. The hacked area looks even and the surface looks great to us still. It is up to individual actually. By the way, we did not hire any PE. It is all quoted in the reno cost under our id. Hope this helps. Hi tellmiwhy00,Here you go! Chuan - 91876076 Cheers!
  3. Thanks. But we are having difficulties maintaining it due to dust and fingerprints. Hi Makanology, thanks! They are gifts from our friend. Hi, we have decided not to reveal our ID. As much as he has his shortcomings, he did have some redeemable traits in him. Anyway, no one's perfect.
  4. hi everyone! it has been aeons since we last logged in. pardon us as we were busy with the cleaning up and all, especially with the fasting month and our "settling in" period as "full-fledged" adults. lols! furthermore, we had to wait for our internet connection to be up so we were unable to update anything. anyways, it has been nearly two months since we moved in. these are some of the pictures that we have taken thus far: More pictures to come...
  5. hi zen_zen! apologies for the very late reply. we did not request for permit to overlay our wall tiles in kitchen and toilet. we will pm you our electrician contact soon! cheers!
  6. Hi Takaishi, If it is the track lights bulbs that you are referring to, yes, they are warm white LED bulbs. In fact, all our lights are LED as mentioned.
  7. Track lights at the passageway ] Lightings at Common Bathroom Lightings at MBR Bathroom Track lights at walk-in wardrobe Cove light at MBR (sans the dim-able downlights) Bomb shelter lighting
  8. Close-up picture of craft bricks wall in the living room Alley leading to MBR (all toilet and bedroom doors are painted white with black frames) Replacing parquet at the area affected after hacking Lights in the kitchen Light in the service yard Lights in living room Note: All lights were purchased from lightings.com (Philips showroom) at Vertex (Ubi Avenue 3) since it is very convenient for us to drive there from our mom's place. Pricey but it was worth the money. We chose LED bulbs for all of the lightings except for the ones at our counter top and they were a good steal - 1 for $69, 2 for $99. We managed to get LED dim-able downlights! Hooray to that because we did not want to get those that had to be pressed every time we want a change in lighting mode.
  9. Hi all, Here are some more pictures of our reno journey (pardon us for the poor image quality): Kitchen appliances and other barang2 stored (and locked) in Bedroom 2 Bedroom 1: Walk-in-wardrobe (literally!) MBR Bomb shelter Front door Bedroom 2: Study Room These are just pictures of first coat of paint applied. The colors that we have chosen are all from Nippon Paint. Funny, friendly and efficient painters!
  10. Hi Songz! Thanks! Hi PTopaz! Sure, we are in the midst of sorting out the pics before uploading. Flickr has them in random order. Lols! Hi DarkWingZ! PM-ed!
  11. Hi PTopaz! We have no idea about that but the pipes in the white mesh thingy takes up quite a space. We were okay with the trunking because we placed LED strip light in the box for extra lighting. Maybe you can check out those people who took apart the mesh thingy and the box and did false ceiling instead for their bathroom. We chanced upon one or two of them but cannot recall who exactly they were. Hope this helps!
