Hello there, I am looking to install pendant lights above my dining area. My house is kinda completed and my contractor is highly against on hacking the ceiling due to dust and all. He suggested the use of a wooden stripe which he could help us build and attach the lights on. However Google is not helping. As it is a random piece of wood sticking out, I am worried if it would look strange. Any creative workarounds would be much appreciated. Thank you!
