  3. Hi, Any view to share on this particular model of hob/hood. Hob Tecno - Mini3 or TZ703 TR Elba - EH731 Hood Tecno - K296 Elba - EBCH 101/90-HM My Kitchen size is probably 5m by 3m. I do cook every lunch and weekends, but not the deep fry stuff. There will be a tempered glass door for my kitchen to retain the smell & smoke. What is the pro & cons for the Electric Auto Ignition or battery operated ignition gas burner? Appreciate if anyone has any other better model to share? PS: Thanks to everyone who has enlightened my knowledge of renovation. Cheers,
  4. Hi, Heard abt the retractable laundry system? Any users among the members? I'm looking to install the retractable system as i'm not a big fan of the bamboo holders. KS Auto System is quoting me S$270 for the model 535. Known of any other sellers for such laundry system ? Appreciate your sharing. Thanks!
  5. Hi Homeowner, I saw that in ikea. But it looks pretty fragile. Not sure if i can hold pots and pans or even heavy stuff. But anyway, thanks for sharing. Cheers,

  7. Hi Mousehunt, Actually my sis(yr2004), mom(yr2005), followed by my bro (yr2006) used Impress21 Design & Build. But i just wanted to see if there is any better choices. So far, things seem to be ok. And i have also recommended him to quite a few of my friends.
  8. Thanks... i actually had someone in mind (Impress21 Design & Build). But still do some "shopping" b4 finialising the deal. Clementi (Blk320) is currently going through up-grading so i'm going to let them finish their stuff before doing my stuff. Dont think they will finish till mid Sep or early Oct.
  9. hello, any idea what is the practise in the market for the old air-con? The newly bought HDB flat has a sys2 in 2 of the bedrooms. Thus, i'm looking to purchase a sys3 so that my living room has enjoyed the cool air too. But do i bargain with air-con seller to take in my old but still working air-con and try to offset the cost? or should i sell off the old air separately and then purchase sys3 on its' own? any thoughts? Thanks!
  10. thanks MaCe & redbottle I sort of agreed with ikea stuff. Good for the small items but definitely not the big items, eg. bed, TV console, wardrobe... But just wondering if anybody has experience with ikea solid pine? Is solid pine really that reliable? I'm still sourcing for my contractor for my newly bought clementi resale 3rm flat.

  12. Hi, Has anyone has any experience using the ikea kitchen? i would like to use solid pine which is more lasting and reliable. Also, any experience with Impress21 Design & Build? Just received a quotation from Henry for my resale HDB 3rm flat. Basically, it's NOT cheap. Care to share any view, anyone? Cheers,
  13. Hi Hello88, Good idea! which shop did you go? Do you mind sending me the contact at shen_kids@yahoo.com MaCe, My contractor was charging me S$180 too. But i just happened to see another one doing it for S$140. I know it's only S$40 difference, but there is a still a difference after all.
  14. Thanks MaCe. Unfortunately my supposed to use contractor seem to charge higher for the rubbish chute (compased to what i saw on the paper).
  15. Hi, I'm looking to change the rubbish chute in my newly bought resale 3rm flat. Any idea if i should change my wall tiles first or the rubbish chute? Also, does anybody has any contact for floor polish? My newly owned flat is currently using Terrazzo, and i'm hoping to see if i can polish it to give a new look instead of hacking the floor. Please help. Thanks! kids2
