  1. I have a pipe in my master bedroom toilet that is leaking. The pipe is a branch pipe leading from the ceiling down to my toilet, and it takes a 90 degrees bend and goes into the toilet wall. It extends through the wall to the kitchen toilet. I believe the pipe from the ceiling carries human waste from the toilet bowl from the unit above mine. It is currently leaking at the part where it enters the wall at the master bedroom toilet wall, on its way to the kitchen toilet. i cannot determine if the leak is just before it enters the toilet wall, or if it is actually leaking into the wall itself and the "leak" is actually coming out of the toilet wall. I have called HDB but they cannot help, beyond suggesting asking for a contractor to put cement on the part where the pipe enters the wall, to see if the leaking can be prevented. The other option according to them, is to hack the wall if we really want to find the leak. I am trying to see if there is an alternative to hacking the wall, if we want to find the leak and fix it. does anyone have a similar experience? Thank you.
