    Hi all,

    Something happened to my door last sat...

    Last Saturday morning, my main door got stuck..

    No matter how I pulled, it cannot open.. and cannot see why.. from inside, nothing was jamming it and the hinges were all fine.. and no lock etc.. but just cannot open..

    My neighbours opposite then realised what happened and tried to push from outside but to no avail too.. then in order to make it easier for them.. I tried to slot the keys under the door to them to open the gate lock etc.. it was not easy but they managed to get it.. but still the door could not be opened even after pushing from outside etc..

    Then called the HDB pple to send someone over...

    While waiting, my neighbours looked at my door from outside.. and theirs and realised how come like at the top part got something different.. he then took a screwdriver to try to pry open from the top.. and finally it managed to open..

    It turned out that the rubber seal for the door got loose and got stuck on top.. Anyway the HDB guy came afterwards and cut off the spoilt part.. and put it back with stapler so it wont fall off again.... hmm..

    Anyway, at that time, I was thinking may need to saw through the door or something.. lucky my neighbour's good observation saved the day :) Lucky it was not a weekday or an impt appt though :P

    But a good lesson learnt too.. be careful while closing the door etc..

    Also, the gate pple probably were there.. but I didnt receive them as had appt in the afternoon and cant wait too long.. so didnt know how it would be like :)

    The letter is NOT fake... i know & seen the undersigned person before on my defects.

    They are the main-con for this project.

    But, we havn't move in, how to check... :dunno: why like that...

    Oh.. at least it is not fake..

    But yup, still got a lot of pple not moved in yet....

    Since mine is tmr.. just wait for them to come see how :P

    I got it too, stuck at the metal gate. They are a sub-contractor for HDB. No worries.

    It stated in the letter if there are any repairs to be carried out, no charges. Just remember don't pay for anything extra.

    Yup, thats the most impt.. no payment for extra stuffs

    I think better bring the letter down to the office, check with them.

    No cause to be alarm.

    Since our neighbours reassured that its real so shld be fine.. will wait for them

    any1 recieved this letter? it looks so FAKE to me loh.. totally like a scam.. how true is it? i dun tink i hv any prob with my gate loh.. :dunno:

    Hmm.. so if they come open the gate for them to check or not?

    yest nite got this letter.. looks so FAKE to me.. i hv no idea how true it is.. but this is totally like a scam to me.. :dunno:

    is it just rtm 1? cos i lost rtm 2, tv3, ch 7, 8 and 9 from msia, which is quite a waste! and they didnt inform us that they were going to activate the signal. so irritating.

    The other place is our house downstairs Kim Seng there..

    So far quite gd :)

    Hi...anybody spotted hairline cracks at your new place?

    I just spotted one at my MBR near the door! so sad.... ID said that it will still appear even after they repaint the wall again.

    Yup, she at overseas.. this week 3rd week.. so 3 more weeks till she comes back..

    Yup have to maintain the house.. but lazy.. last time every week clean.. then we actually turned lazy.. so now house also dirty and messy keke.. so have to really spend time to clean it all up :P

    Let's go SIMP house to have a Tigerbeer!!!

    Hehe.. no prob.. but I dun drink so my house dun have :P

    Anyway have to clean up house first now messy.. dunno if got place to sit.. :D

    i have the same bug problem too. was worried if they are baby termites coz really too small to make out what they are. got the carpenter to check and he assured us its not termite... more of bug from the lights :dunno:

    Bugs from the light? The bugs that I see like not attracted to light.. they only appear on the kitchen cabinet table top and on the floor near the kitchen cabinet

    I oso got see the small bugs u guys toking abt...nt sure if it is the same type though. its almost fine like powder! Den I saw them in my HHS (where the shelves r) if I accidentally drop sme of my girl's dogfood-powder. Next morn, they will be ard the foodspots...oso dunno wat they r...its frm lights meh?

    Xlan, I got try the $3 paper thing b4 but I dont put in my kitchen cabinets as I thot insecticide thing shdnt mix wif food items (dry foods in my cabinets). But I do use it in my toilet cabinets. Very useful as toilet is "wet" area, smetimes will haf crawlies (my hair stands up at the mention of them)...now after I put the paper, no mre crawlies liao! :good:

    Didnt put in toilet however.. so far no bugs there yet.. maybe a few on the floor.. crawled from the kitchen cabinet

    but i only found those tiny crawlies in kitchen.. at the lower cabinet.. so i was wondering.. if it is really safe to put there? since my sauces/cooking oil/pans & woks etc are all there.. probably the reason y these irritating bugs haunting ard this corner..

    i worry if these bugs would bite my baby gal.. since she always follow me into the kitchen n sit/lie on the floor accompanying me while i cook/wash..

    aiyoh.. ur place those bugs.. will "jump" or not? i tried to pressed it with a tissue.. but they kind of jump off very fast like fleas.. not sure wat kind of such tiny bugs.. is s small s the size of a fine salt if u get wat i'm trying to say.. v irritating n hard to kill them..

    i hvn't try the spray yet.. gotta spray n leave the house for at least 2 hours.. n in this few hours.. dunno go where esp need to bring baby along.. nowadays outside such a hot weather.. bring her out of so many hours.. can she tahan or not.. sigh.. v hard to find a nice weekend for this.. sianz..

    My place the bugs are crawling ones.. and yup.. very very small.. smaller than ants etc.. that time a lot on the kitchen top.. then so use insecticide spray to kill them.. then left it there till the next day then clean up..

    For two days so far so gd.. then third day they start to come back again :(

    hehe i got what u mean. My hse lesser spider after the lizard came to conquer the hse. then the lizard disappear too. but i know that its hiding somewhere, haha..

    i bought a roll of Bug Kill Shelf Paper from Homefix during lunch time.. cost $3.. shld b wat we all r looking for.. rite? :dunno: i bought it jus to try it n see how it goes.. hopefully no more little tiny crawling creatures.. but now quite worry if my baby smell n lick it.. or her paws touch it n later she lick her paws n get poisoned.. :unsure:

    last week i realised tiny little crawling bugs.. quite a lot actually.. very very tiny ones.. crawling across n under my kitchen lower cabinet.. n also inside the cabinet shelf..

    i thought of n bought a bottle of the insect spray.. wanted to spray to kill them.. but nvr can hv a chance to do it.. n leave the house for few hours.. :bangwall:

    n jus at the right moment.. read tat h4happy mentioned something abt "insecticide paper".. then i tot.. mmm.. can try hor.. but wat is tat paper n where to get it? i nvr come to know there's such thing.. n tis is how i start the search on this "insecticide paper"..

    n finally found something similar in homefix..

    Think my house got the same bug.. lots of them too...

    And the blue floral print bug thing is the same I bought and put when moved in... I put it in all the drawers.. but outside of it still have the bug :(

    hi all,

    is there any thing that can keep lizard away?

    i know of there are insecticide paper to keep ants/cockroach away, Ant's drugs etc.

    but never hear of something for lizard

    is there such thing?

    Not sure bout lizard.. but actually lizard may be gd :P

    After there was a lizard at my home.. the fruitflies no longer came back.. and the lizard went missing too :D

    Oh.. mine was 3.3k.. 30 poses only.. the photographer snapped a lot.. but only chose 31.. keep deleting photos from the whole list.. took a few hours to finally choose them..

    Mine waited for around 3 mths for the photos.. only collected a few weeks before my actual day.. they say need to take quite long one
