    Thanks for sharing. :) Wanna ask, as the id quoted us $1.4k+, then later changed to $1.2k+. But other id (best thing is it's from same co somemore) quoted us $750. Hence was wondering why got so much differences one!

    Yup think the best is to check with the ID on the different quotations.. probably different quality.. or which part of house etc...

    i did a quick peep. the wooden door was scrapped like they were tryin to get in. according to the uncle, unsuccessful robbery...but who knows if it's true. ya ya! i heard tat one guy did his but also kena broke in. nothin is safe unless u hire a security guard sit outside 24 hrs liao.....

    which paper was in in? zaobao or wanbao?

    tat uncle quo me $90 for 6 bolts. he say is more than enough unless i super kiasee wan to change all the bolts.

    I was one of the first batch to do the bolt there I think... got charged $150 for 6 bolts..

    So to me even $90 is so much less liao :P

    hi guys, surf & happy to found this thread. got a unit at 25B, still doin reno! no space for dinning table, any suggestion? initally i wanted a pull out table but it cost 400-500. told my contractor honestly might as well get a dinning table ! :bangwall: ours is a 4-room. goin ikea later - shoppin !

    Yup, mine have crack lines.. so fast havent do anything yet..

    When I first got the house.. ceiling got crack lines liao... told BSC, they said will do something.. but seem didnt do anything.. anyway the paint covered over..

    But now, more lines appeared not only on the ceiling but the walls too.. although faint ones..

    Also wondering how to rectify it :P

    you can call up ST and subscript from there.

    Anyone using MIO services? As in for the internet and fixed line?

    When MIO services started, the fixed line and internet is quite bad, so after sometime, dun know how is the performance like now.

    Anyone can advise? Thinking of subcribing it.

    I using ST for my internet, so far so good.. speed quite ok too..

    However, think not considered MIO so cant really tell, but my previous home uses MIO and also did not have any problems so find it quite stable

    hello all,

    Pls pardon my ignorance, I will be moving in to this neighbourhood soon in a couple of months. Our flat is under reno now. Just happen to read abt the rooftop garden.

    May i know where is it located?

    Hi all,

    For me, I turn on air-con at night so no noise :P

    Btw the rooftop garden seems to take quite long to complete? Think I have already moved in close to 6 mths.. still not ready yet :o

    The food are generally ok.. nothing special.. but ok :)

    The tze char, feel that they can cook certain food better.. but edible :P

    Btw the Ipoh Hor Fun store closed liao? Replaced with another stall?

    Like to check wif u how u maintain ur floor huh?? wat detergent to use for granite or can juz use plain water to mop??? Coz i tink there is limited detergent for granite. can use bleach to mop? my ID uses it to mop the floor before. :S

    I use a floor cleaner product to mop the floor.. it shld work for granite and other floor types too..

    and no rinsing is required and sweet smelling too.. cleans quite well too

    so personally find it quite gd and works well :)

    Hi JAZZ....I did not use any detergent to mop the floor. I use only water only cos' I also dont know whether can use detergent or not. I have mop almost everyday and now can feel the floor is not sandy.

    Hi Neighbours....I have read (neighbours forum) about pub bills (sky high)....how about you? Care to share?

    I am still waiting for my 1st bill....

    So far:

    1) On the air con once (less than 1 hour) kekeke

    2) Fridge; 24 hours

    3) Water heater (for bathing)

    4) Standing fan (est. 15 hours per day)

    5) TV (less than 8 hours)

    6) WM (1 to 2 times per week)

    7) Boiling water heater (24 hours)

    That's all.

    Do share on how to trim down cost!

    2) Laptop using Power in evening and night

    2) Fridge 24 hrs

    3) Instant electric water heater when bathing

    4) TV a few hours

    5) Washing machine 2 times a week

    6) Water purifier 24 hrs

    7) Air treatment system in evening and night

    8) Handphone charger at night

    9) Induction cooker (usually some weekends)

    Hi all,

    My next door neighbour put a CCTV outside the house.. mainly to deter away intruders.. coz think not really working :P

    Seems like the burglars now attacking Blk 26B, so those staying or moving in there have to be careful!

    Let us all neighbours watch out for each other too..

    and help one another if there is a need too :)

    The centre at 27B is still there arh... Hubby juz went there on wed to report more defects... the metal gates hinges spolit.

    Oh ok.. thats wat i thought so too.. coz think walked past a few wks before.. the place like still there.. but not sure..

    Think I better check my metal gates too.. seems like a lot here have problems
