wow...u fixed wallpapers on ya own?? it must be a major project!! so it cn really be done...hmmm... so where u got those equipments from?? can provide me with contacts?? the wallpapers cant stick on the laminates...so we have to put on plywood..or sand the laminates to make it rougher...we intend to keep the mirror strips...

hi ralph, thanks..im gonna haf my tv mount onto the feature wall..& yes, everything's gonna be concealed. the power switches are hidden in one of the drawers. & the tv wires will be hidden in the feature wall which will then be "pulled" to the switches.. mi also not very sure how to connect the wires...leaving it to the electrician...mayb u can check with ur ID & electrician how it can be done.. yeah, with the l-shaped tempered glass, it looks much better....but not good enough... thanks for the addy, will go check it out! i dun think i will put my "flowery" wallpaper ard the house....think will be too much liaoz..we would still wanna put some nice wallpapers on it....ya...dun care even if it's too common....

the L-shaped black tempered glass on my feature wall is upz lor....quite OK larz... But think it will look better with the wallpapers on it...haha... bottom view... with wallpaper... slight defect...

cham ah...common?? think gotta choose again?? think wen will "kill" me ah..haha...bec we wanted everything to be completed, including the installation of wallpaper within the next 2 weeks... i like the rose one which is not posted here as they dun haf the sample..but wen dun....haiz....

no probs!! where's europa wallpaper centre?? u sure we can fix wallpapers on our own??? i think most prob we would go for the golden floral one...but quite common ya??

hi applefreak & jamez, today went to goodrich again....shortlisted 3 of the wallpapers..expected cost= $500..think really bobian...MUST CHANGE!!! anyway, happen to find those vinyl stickers..can be found at goodrich too! abt $50 for a 5m one...for bigger ones might cost as much as $200... !! took the sample back....which one nicer??

hmmm...we just thought there's nothing special abt the feature wall and was greatly disappointed lor...haiz...i think we prefer a dark coloured feature wall.. btw, where to find those vinyl stickers??

ya...hopefully... expected handover date is next Friday...hmmm....& my furnitures r gonna come in next Sat! getting real excited!!! !! eh....bec we have not shifted in leh...once started shifting, all my "rubbish" from my parent's place will be shifted to my new nest liaoz...keke... today went to goodrich to check out the wallpapers...and wow! am sooo amaze by the many designs they had... checked out the prices liaoz...installation + wallpaper for my feature wall abt $500...but wen keep insisting that he will only pay $100.... we might also need to remove the 3 mirror strips on the feature wall...haiz...tough decision as we paid more $$ for the so-called "special" laminates & the tinted mirror strips.....

my feature wall finally upz! (except for the L-shaped black tempered glass) i would say the effect is BAD!! it didnt turn out to be nice & think we might decide to use wallpapers if budget permits...tml will check out the price! the mirror strips... my soap dispenser... my carpet from lush sitting pretty in the bomb shelter... my designer doors...

that's a great idea! i thought of it too.. but their designs r quite limited & mi not the arty type...prefer to get professionals to get it done for mi..think haf chance, i will speak to my hubby...haha.. !!

im considering....yes, only considering...(in case my hubby is here to read again... ) of using wallpaper on my feature wall. currently, it is made of laminates..however, we thought the colour was too light & cant stand out! was thinking of having wallpapers over it. does anyone knows if we can DIY wallpaper onto the feature wall (yes, on budget constraints liaoz..)?? or r there any special equipment or glue used??

the solid top was finally up yday....after no progresses for sooooooo looooooooongggg.... not forgetting the sponge holder..

hopefully!! dunno when everything will be done? haiz..... outstanding: solid top for kitchen, mirrors strips on feature wall..installation of my mixer & rain shower..hopefully to move in ard Oct..my furnitures coming in mid sept & hs been delayed for 1-2 mths lor... anyone got lobang for curtains???

yeah..i think it's hardy too! i persuaded my hubby to get this...as it's not cheap lor.. thanks jamez...actually i really really hope the feature wall will turn out good..it's not cvompleted yet...still waiting for the mirrors... my house is longgish...so it looks spacious...

cantona7, mayb u can go to my blog to see the pics first! haha..... ah_kiat, me dun really know how to cook...haha...but i "will try" to use it often... as mentioned, my hubby & i dun even know how to use the oven..... wat problems will surface? i think a vvv good hood will hopefully solve all the problems larz...somemore, my living room got air-con... lagi worse!

my actual feature wall is a light greyish one with some designs...with mirror strips plus a L-shape black glass... i also dunno how the final effect will look like...and ya.,..the white laminate doesn't stand out on my white wall... anyway, mi gonna repaint the living room walls... yesh it's nice but it doesn't stand out leh...i think the correct one will look better!
