Hi all, totally new to this forum! I am in the process of renovating my home and was hoping i can get some advice from you folks. This is the proposed design for my living room. I am concerned about the light trough that runs along the outer edge of the wood panelling in the ceiling. This type of light trough does not create a washed lighting and I am worried that it won't generate enough ambient light unless it is very bright, in which case it would be harsh and too bright. Have any of you had experience with this type of light trough, and was it acceptable? Thank you!
