I just took over my apartment from a 3 year tenancy. Mine is a 2 bedroom apartment. I'm looking to renovate both the bathrooms and kitchen for now at a budget of $15K. Hope it's doable. I'm not looking at designer labels or features. Can anyone recommend a good contractor? I'm hoping to start this month. Details as follows: Master Bathroom - remove bathtub - overlay of floor tiles - change wall tiles (maybe overlay if it's cheaper) - expand shower area - new shower door - change vanity and mirror - fix lighting Common Bathroom - overlay of floor tiles - change wall tiles (maybe overlay if it's cheaper) - change shower door - change vanity and mirror - fix lighting Kitchen - remove existing cabinets and fix new ones - overlay floor tiles - fix tempered glass near cooking area (selected areas) - change kitchen doors
