Its just that they are powered by electricity and not gas. Don't get confused with those big gas heaters that they sell overseas. Singapore is only using the instant gas type of heater.

Sq digital comes with a remote control instead of a built-into-wall touch screen control panel.. which means no more drilling or wiring Update as of June 2017: The 25 lit digital water heater has been discontinued. We have received quite a lot of user feedback that this model is too small and hence produces too little water for the average household in Singapore.
