hi dino, no worries. i was with ebing and chrispy when i sms u. wanted to see ur false ceiling. is it done? yup, we're looking at hitachi. price wise, it's actually more expensive than panasonic but believe it's better. as advised, panasonic 402V is very sellable cos it's "inverter". lady boss of a shop showed us the electricity consumption and compared to a non-inverter fridge of another brand of the same capacity, the non-inverter fridge is using lower consumption. but how it really works, must check lah. hahaha! anyway, pansonic is using recycled plastic for its internal shelves which leaves a strong odour and will affect all your food for at least 6mth. the fridge that we see on display at all major selling stores have been opened & closed many many times, therefore we can't smell it. when the lady boss opened a newly arrived unit, the smell is terrible. she brought this up cos she received a complain as her cust thought that they gave her a used fridge...until they checked and found out the real reason behind it.

really!! how many years warranty given? lesson learnt: cannot buy electrical appliances too early... oops! looking at ur unit's helped a lot. especially the drainage. he didn't run the pipe all the way to the drainage hole, but will get them to stand by for us in case we wanna extend next time. you bought ur mattress?! expensive??

All Best got flying ears.. shay_d & eesy told them 2pm, they can still arrange morning. stupid right... then eesy already has appt in the morning and can only be there for 30min..but will meet him again at 1pm. luckily the installer was able to come down this evening to discuss abt the layout while shay_d's around...but w/o eesy.. everything is LAST MINUTE! and i HATE last minute changes! hopefully u can come down lor...i feel very redundant, as a girl to be around to instruct them how i want it to be. hate shay_d's company...

i would only comment that...can't compare. different ID earn in some areas, quote cheaper in others. i wouldn't say mine is any cheaper than yours, if you include motar base. take strawberry_pear & gadgetman, their overlay of TILES ONLY is already cheaper than mine. i did ask him abt this "anti-slip wall tiles" as well, there was an explanation which i can't remember wat was it. but to be fair to eesy, he didn't charge us for some things which we added &/or changed too. at the same time, he did mention prices are quoted on a maximum. when there's excess, it'll be deducted...e.g. our solid surface is quoted up to 30ft..we definitely won't require 30ft of solid surface in such a small kitchen. as for us, we've committed and to date, things have been quite smooth and we're not in a hurry too. if u're concerned, would suggest you clarify with him. it's not good to have any conflicts later, especially when money matters are concerned. hi zeester, would u mind to PM me the price too? let's not say too early. it's very jinxed! the day anyone of us complain is the day their reputation will sweep the floor due to unforgiveable mistakes. there are definitely unhappiness in some way or another for everyone, regardless of which ID engaged. it's a matter of how major the mistake and how long has our patience been tested... mainly, it depends on how both ID & customer compromise to meet each other's standard, whatever aspects it may be...otherwise, very difficult...
