Bz day today! - Final paint touch up. - Plumber works to install my hansgrohe shower sets + basin mixer, bathroom accessories and vanity cabinet from Taobao. For kitchen mixer they have to do another day as my tempered glass backing in the kitchen is not ready yet. - AO Smith digital heater installation! - Sofa and dining table set from Comfort Furniture delivery! They made a mistake and left out my dining table... Will redeliver next saturday. - Washing machine + Dryer delivered! - Master room bed frame + mattress delivered! - Fridge delivered!

Is a wireless AP. supposed to have long range for wireless connection. https://www.ubnt.com/unifi/unifi-ap-ac-lr/ My electrician help me with the trunking installation and I provide the network cable I bought from Sim Lim Sq. Piano is cos my wife is a piano teacher with Yamaha so she have staff price.

yes u can... for solid colors still ok... for woody, patterns laminate... better to see A4 size to have a better picture how the laminate looks like in blow up size.

Forget to add this Taobao tip for shipping... If you are expecting huge shipment (more then 2CBM, it will be advisable to prepaid to the forwarder via Alipay as the exchange rate for SGD (if you choose to pay in SGD) is not favorable... I incur $30+ more for my second batch shipment.

Update of our second Taobao purchases... no time to take photos of all purchases. Here's a few. Since our TV wall color is white, decided to buy spray paint to spray the white doors with colors. 1.2m sofa bed. Arms folder-able to stretch flat at 1.9m. Study table. Vanity cabinet set for common toilet Rack for washing machine / dryer Other buys (including the queen bed and wardrobe) : Will take photos of the individual items later on when we move in.

My 2nd batch Taobao orders came today.... quite shag as DIY assemble most of the furniture with my wife help. TIP: Do not order wardrobe from Taobao... my wardrobe door was damaged when they crate the packaging... the door full of nail holes, in the end I had to go "open concept" for this wardrobe. Luckily it's for guestroom only. Also, I hired a mover (2 person) to do the assembly... took them 3.5 hours but still cannot finish fixing and I had to touch up. Paid them $210 for this assembly job. Managed to DIY assemble the following furnitures: - Queen bed for guestroom - Sofa bed for piano/study room - Dresser for master bedroom Tomorrow will resume to assemble the following furnitures: - TV console for living room - Study table for piano/study room

Kindly note that my ID only does the carpentry works, vinyl flooring, hacking of kitchen wall, painting, plumbering works and general cleaning. The rest below is outsourced by me: - Cement screed by HDB (last batch to be eligible for free cement screed but we top up $950 to match the kitchen tiles height) - Electrical works - Aircon - Bedroom barn doors - Toilet doors - Blinds - Window grilles - DIY painting for bedroom door frames + bomb shelter All in all after added those outsourced by me... the whole reno cost about $31k.
