Skyplay North Perth School of Early Learning is a family operated childcare center. The center is one of the few in the country offering learning and development for preschoolers and aims to meet the growing demands for childcare centers in the inner-city areas.

The family operated center turned to Matthew Crawford Architects & Tom Godden Architects complete 16,145 square feet, high-rise building.

The architects’ Skyplay concept is to create a contemporary design and provide a place where children have the best of both worlds, the opportunity to play in the ‘sky’ as well as on ground level. An important element incorporated in the building is the element of nature, several trees have been sensitively integrated. Typical bright painted walls are replaced with natural materials that are hard wearing yet beautiful.
