  1. Hello everyone. Hope the Renotalk community can help me out here. Looking for some advice on bed frames. I purchased a platform bed frame with storage from Silver River. I believe they are under Mix and Match Concept Living. I did not notice it at first, but on one side of the bed frame, there are 4 rows of visible staples. 3 rows are on the outer side of the bed frame (away from the mattress), and there is 1 row on the inner side of the bed frame (on the side of the mattress). Attempts to contact Silver River and getting them to rectify the problem has been long and troublesome. When I first contacted someone, the lady on the phone agreed with me that there shouldn't be staples on the side of the bed frame that comes into contact with the mattress. Afterwards, their men took a long time to come down and view the bed frame. Upon which, he said that it's normal for them to do so. I insisted that he take photos and he said he would discuss it with the factory. It's been almost 2 weeks and I've heard nothing, so I called up Silver River again. This time, the lady who answered the phone insisted that that's the way they do things and that ALL THEIR BED FRAMES HAVE VISIBLE STAPLES. I called bull**** on that and told her that I do not believe this is the standard that should be practiced. Long story short, she is asking the salesman who dealt with me to give me a call back. I have not gotten the call, but I am not ready to settle for the excuse that 'that's how they do things'. I have tried searching online with regards as to what the norm should be when it comes to staples being used in bed frames, but my searches have not yielded much. Hope the Renotalk community can advise me on this matter. I paid about $1.2k for this bed frame and am not wiling to settle for shoddy work. Thank you!
