  1. I have been putting off creating my own t blog because the earliest completion date for my house home (I prefer home, because it sounds more welcoming and "my own" than house but that's my preference) is Q3 2016 (I think I saw Oct 2016...but I don't remember). BUT, I've been stalking too many (understatement haha) t blogs since last week and you know what happens with this equation: too much information on houses + too many beautiful home photos on reno talks + short period of time = brain exploded + creation of my own t blog. My fiancé told me "ya you should create. help you to be focus." Say until like I very distracted in this planning process, how can don't show support for his future wife one Anyway, we first applied for this SOBF in May 2015 (IS IT REALLY ONE YEAR ALREADY OMG), and got a (quite pathetic) q number of 400+ when the number of flats in the SOBF project was 300+. I remember telling my fiancé, then boyfriend, "Wah k** this kind of number, we where will so heng can get the flat one?" Maybe I need to say such things more cos I obviously jinxed it and we managed to select a unit. Well, not my ideal level but our other considerations > my illogical preference for high levels = selecting low level unit. My then bf said "ok la hor? at least got house to stay in next time? so near your office, next time you OT can just walk home. good what." I asked him where got good. He said "Because I don't need to pick you anymore!!!!" So, because my office is so near my house, I can stalk the progress everyday and I just get more and more upset as the days go by because the other blocks, except for mine, are finishing up so quickly!!! #life This is the floor plan of our house. We've been trying to find t blogs with similar floor plans but... #life again. What we've done so far: Well, I've stalked my home nearly everyday since last year... We agreed on a theme: NYC. Well it changed from scandi to "whatever la" to NYC finally. I really love NYC too much until I want to incorporate it into my house. Well, my first o/s trip with my then bf was to NYC, we just went back to NYC in end April and he popped the question and the ring during that trip. So...NYC really holds many dear memories. Ok, back to the point. The good thing is that NYC apartments are mostly cramped and really small (unless you are filthy rich) which is definitely relevant for BTOs. I also love the timeless look of their apartments (white walls, typically brown furnishing e.g. floors, furnitures). Minimal furnishings except for maybe some random functional shelves (or more like shelf because really no space la)...Brick walls which are usually this lovely warm brown/rust red colour. I simply love how it can be cramped, yet the owners make it look very cosy and un-cluttered. Well, i said "we agreed on a theme" earlier on. My fiancé doesn't have a choice haha, but what I wanted was basically what he wanted so there there Trawled pinterest and google images for months. Snapped a lot of pictures on what we want our house to look like. We have a general theme + colour theme for the house (had to take a screenshot because my powerpoint suddenly died on me, please ignore all the weird spaces). Doesn't look very NYC here, but the other mood boards I did had many NYC features. This next mood board is for the study room (room 2) Then after I did these two mood boards (THREE HOURS HOR), my eyes died on me and I did not have the energy to continue I will be populating the mood board for the kitchen soon (I already have tons of photo inspirations for my kitchen) so that will be up next!
