  1. Hi KHW Not sure about ya package but carpentry work can be one of those very costly sections depending of your design needs like how many feature walls, tv consoles you wan, how long is ya wardrodes and cabinets etc.. If ya standard package did not cover enuff to satisfy ya design need, then this can be one of those hidden cost. Wish you luck in ya reno ahead! !! Thanks
  2. Hi 38wangers! Got my EA@key 2 weeks ago and now looking for IDs:) Just got my first quote from ID > 36k!! (including balcony renovation). Our intention is to install windows on the balcony and hack away the sliding door. Now we are thinking should we leave the balcony as it is. Thanks
  3. Hi JuzChris Yeah, dun really have to level, as you mention, maybe can use parquet / laminate floor for my balcony floor. I think should be more visially appealling ba:) I am not so worried about the dust but more about the rain becos water will damage all the nice woods. Thanks for ya advise.
  4. Hi RenoTalk forumers, I had recently brought an EA flat in 38wang with round balcony. After discussion with my partner, we decided to hack away the balcony sliding door and install windows around the balcony. But it will means that the balcony floor will not be level with the living room floor. One solution is to look/buy the same tiles (subjected to availablility) for the balcony floor. There are any other suggestions? Thanks! Sleepy
