I bought LG washer top load model #WF-T95G00TED. Got it @ $599 with a $100 NTUC voucher. What I can say is that when I first got the washer, 3 problems cropped up. The machine emits a foul smell.Not sure why. Second is that the machine makes alot of noise, can feel the drum hitting against the wall of the machine, and 3rd but not least water starts to seap out of the machine.\Got LG technician to come and look at it. He managed to do some balancing on my washer, then tried, not so noisy anymore. As for the smell, overtime, it has gone. As for the water seaping out, apparently its from the pipe. Maybe got blockage.
Verdict, I am not really a fan of LG stuffs. I think their products are very surface, meaning make it nice on the surface. Durability and functionality is really a question mark here.
Hi i just received my WF-T95G00TED as well, i notice that the clothing are still very wet (water still dripping from the hanger) after 90minute of airdry, do you face this problem? the drying part seem to be a bit worried for me as my wife are not complaining.

Wah.. He 1 person paint whole house? Usually i heard 4 people paint 1 house... Maybe u can give me his contact pls.. Thanks!no la, he got 2 local workers with him and take 2 day to finish my 4room unit. On the last day of works, he had to wait for me until 7.30pm to come back n check and pass him the balance payment, quite dissappointed with one of the dark colour which we had choose, i ask him to come back again to repaint the 2 wall, he told me he do it right now at cost $30 for 2 wall, he finished the works alone at 1130pm.After that, he promise to come back again (this friday) to touch up those area which i am not satisfied. His skill might not be the best (his workers miss out some area) but make up with after sales services. I will PM u the no.
Tell him the guy from Compassvale who make him work late recommended

I can recommend my painter, he is responsible and good so far, even now at 11pm he is still painting alone in my hse as I ask him to help me paint back another wall colour . His price are not the cheapest but reasonable, he quote 900 for my 4 room flat. Had kept his promise to keep my place clean after painting .

I notice the painter are charging much lower nowaday for painting job compare to last time.
I got called up one of them advert in the Straits time, he is offering me $480/- for Nippon Pentalite for whole hse including ceiling for 4 room flat.
Too good to be truth isn't it, let's assume he will need total 8no of 5ltr paint, if $40 each, that will be $320 for paint already,
Anyone had any idea?

the price is really cheap, but must also check with them the after sales services offer
eg: what if one night 1am you come bck from outside and unable to open the door are they 24/7 service to open for you,
and how they open? special key or break the door?just be cautious, lot of these hit and run company

Gateman is the pioneer for the digital door lock if you are asking me,
their price is more ex but quality are better, they are the first brand which go into project like Montery Park, Park Emily, almost all the CDL development.

story goes like this... no houses with keys available on that special day... only with bto with 3-4 yrs of wait.. so decided to reject that offer and back in april this year to apply again for half yearly sale... sick and tired of life..why is it that nowadays hdb releases flats in small quantity.. 400 +
total applicants is 10,000
what is happening in here ?
in that case when am i going to get a house ? 2020 or 2050 ?
mentally very stressed...

Relax lah.. okie one... as long as you can provide proof that you are getting married..proof include wedding banquet receipt with wedding date..as long as got payment with ur wedding date on it..you are fine..
coz i am also one of those ppl.. getting married in oct and bought my resale unit in march

Hi i am going for my 1st app for my resales flat very soon,
understand i need to provide the married certificate if i am applying for the 1st timer grant.
Can i provide on the receipt for the date of ROM (upon registered)instead as my ROM date are only somewhere July.
Anyone similar situation b4? i had spoke to my agent and they claim normally are allow if i provide the receipt ROM
I do not want to caught in a situation where my 1st timer are not allow but i got to get the flat as i had already sign for the OTP

I dunno how true it is, but I've heard that the ids gain something from bringing u there, probably they get a cut from the sale? MIght be reason for the exhorhibant pricing.. It's too ridiculous...correct, the id get commission (mostly 10%)from all the shop he bring you to

many resales flats are available and lower since the newspaper saying the resales price might drop
funny my q is 7000+ i still get sms to choose the flat.. to chose those super high price unit and 2012 hse..

my 1 chance has gone for first timer.
i was suppose to choose a flat in Feb.
but by the time i went , the only flats that were available were 2012 .
i couldn't wait till then.
flats with keys available were taken up by the time my appointment day comes.
so whats the point of going down there ?

as i never go down for the appointmet, the letter came.

Hmm... 1stly, relax ya? not trying to pick a fite here... what can I, 1 person do? nothing much... if HDB says go-ahead, then i believe it'll go ahead....2ndly, i complain bcos i felt that this project is really priced unrealistically... remember, this project was launched last year and HDB's new flat prices are tagged along with resale flat pricing.... Stupid Ah Mah rule...
Buying a flat is not play play, i totally agree with you... that's why i'm reconsidering as this is a few hundreds of thousands we're talking about... not shopping at Metro, OG or Robinsons ....
Lastly, I'm not too sure if there are many Breezers here that are happy and looking forward to the construction of the estate... 2013 completion and priced more expensive than a current resale unit ard the vicinity.... Maybe what Ah Mah and his team can do is, relook at the pricing of the estate and make some necessary adjustments, so everyone is happy....
you should think carefully before you committed with HDB, if you are not comfortable with the price you should NOT paid the deposit earlier, i myself are not a breeze wannabe but i can understand that there are some ppl who are very happy with their buying especially the threadstarter,
the housing in punggol are unrealistically high which i am fully agreed that's why i am not looking at the resales market now, even Jurong west price for 5 room are also going upp...
Anyway, lot of ppl are telling me that the price for resales are dropping in the next 6 month, if you can afford,wait for it to be happen before fortfit your deposit.

they may hav invite you as they are expecting some ppl might be dropping off later so you still get to "select" whatever it left at the nearer date, but of course if all the unit taken up before you den i dun think you will be call for, anyway Jan/Feb still at least 2month away which i believe you should keep you finger cross, get the resales instead which i am aiming now.this is what they stated for me...You will receive a letter from us inviting you to select a flat in Jan/ Feb 2009. Detailed information on the flats available for booking will also be given to you nearer the selection date. However, if you have already booked a flat from HDB under any sales exercise or a DBSS flat, your application in the Balloting Exercise will be cancelled.
so do i stand ahance ?

i feel there are a few PRS who applied for flat without knowing that they are not eligible for flats.To be eligibe for flats they need to have at least 1 sporean and 1 pr in order to get a brand new flat.
i guess many PRS applied without knowingly.
as for resale PRS are eligible ....
i just heard from my fren who was marriage and bought a hse in sengkang 5 yrs ago,
he also got a qn number of 8xxx for this balloting
make me wonder how the system really works?
1st timer? 2nd timer only 1000 applicant difference only.
and i also know 1 couple who only looking at 2 of the Executive M for this balloting even through their chance of getting any of the flat available quite high at qn 150, likely they will give up if they are not able to get this flat..

my gf and i suppose to get ROM on 11th Aug 09 but her grandma pass away on the 5th,
i had heard that if such thing happen, normally the couple should get ROM or marriage within 100 day or 1 year later, is that correct?
or is it that we could only get marriage after 100 day over?
