Simmons (in fact, the 3 big S) have a practice of naming their mattresses in the Simmons showroom and those at their reasaler (like Ackerman) differently. Activation of Power and Water Today met the technician from Singapore Powers to activate my water and electricity. To my surprise, he said someone had illegally turned on them on already! He told me it was likely done by the HDB contractors as they changed all my power sockets and switches. They sort of force open the electricity box to access the main switch and one of the plastic panel is broken. The SP guy says he has seen many such cases and showed me the boxes of my neighbours and they were all in similiar conditions. Theses contractors were supposed to get water and electricity from downstairs instead of doing this "lazy man method". Do I need to inform the town council to ask them to repair? Site survey by ADT Security I am planning to install a security system in my new place as I've had one in my parent's current place and we find it very useful. I called up ADT and Cisco Certis for quotes and the ADT guy came down today to survey the place. ADT has a package where the equipment will be free but there will be a 3 yr subscription to their monitoring service. Cost is $40 per month so I figured the cost will be $1400 after 3 yrs. It includes a home content insurance from NTUC also. I will be waiting to see Cisco's package before deciding who to go with.

Kajua, I saw that u bought a KDK fan from Chelsea lightings. Is that a ceiling fan? Which model and how much? Cos when I was there I didnt see KDK ones, only crestar and some other brands.

Hacking is starting next wed!! Heard the workers will need water to work (correct right?) so will be activating the water and electricity this saturday. Yeah its definitely impt to know ur theme before going down... I went down with a rough idea of what i want and somehow it evolved into us choosing tiles for a modern resort theme. I saw the very white tiles that you chose but i didnt wanna top up. Furthermore, Max & Steven said that a less white one suit our theme better as it feels more cozy But if you're going for mordern contemporary then 100% white is a must! My most headache tiles were the kitchen toilet ones... Chose a long time and rejected many suggestion by the IDs and Hafary salesman before settling for the eventual one But it was quite a fun experience... Next up for you will be the 3D drawings right? I;m sure u are brimming with anticipation!
