Hi guys! Thank u for de wishes spongebobmama! Anyway, i wrote to the CC and claimed ive "just moved in" to the area. Asked a few qns about the neighbourhood. Apparently heres what I found out: 1. There is a BBQ pit at Admiralty Drive for residents' usage. Booking at STC required. 2. There is a Table-Tennis table at Blk 360A. 3. Nearest Swimming Pool, Indoor courts & Stadium - Yishun 4. Nearest Squash & Tennis Courts - YCK 5. Nearest Basketball & Badminton courts - Area surrounding Blk 357 6. Nearest Gym - Yishun. I have expressed my disappointment on this to the CC. They have set up a committee to discuss on this issue. I sure hope they will have one soon! Any news on the Sembawang Shopping Centre? The NTUC Mart @ MRT has closed down. Our Sun Plaza has such limited shops but surprisingly has Yamaha, Library, M1, Singtel, Starhub. Basically just not enough well known clothes retail shops like Esprit or Gio. Eateries are sufficient but a Pizza Hut wld be nice yeah? ROFL!

i have a bicycle but the tyres are flat :s Does anyone have a tyre pump? However, i jog whenever i can but atm, hv not been jogged for 3weeks now. Will resume running soon. Normally weekdays i jog in the morning b4 work & late afts on Sats.

I've met 2 of them before many many times lol supposed to meet 3 others but neva did get down to it. Karen was suppposed to org a tea session for de wives club! Now lets wait for Kel to organise This sat, my ID's & HDB's plumbers are coming to change de pipes of de neighbours below! WHEE!!!! cant wait to get it fixed so that i can shower in my nice nice bathroom again.

wah blueturtle! dats scary but u hengz got ur hb & frens w u. I was alone when mine tripped. Infact, it tripped 4 times for me before. 1. Alone - Only Fridge, bedroom light, A/C, PC & TV on 2. Sleeping - Fridge & A/C on 3. Fridge on. Just came home one day from work & theres no power. HDB can't help cuz I did reno & had some wiring done. I am so pissed! Its either according to what Leonidas said or my ID's electrician is bad. But theres no way to noe. Also, I am hving problems with my MBR bathroom. The water drainage is so slow. I have to flush 3-4 times to get things down, my sink will flood, my shower area will flood till water flows out to my toilet bowl area! Been showering in my common bath. ID's plumber came once & rectified that we hv to go thru neighbour below. HDB's plumber came once & declared it fixed. After they left, by afternoon it choked again. Called HDB again & i told them may need to go thru via neighbour. HDB's plumber insisted on coming again saying that he knows what is de prob. He came & of course futile. Now it is decided to go thru my neighbour below. But my neighbour just had a baby & is "pantang". Only date good for them in 21st! The agony! T.T

Whee... Had my overnight MJ session! Total of 7 pax (3 couples a seat each). Was alot of fun. It took us 5hrs to clear! We got stuck there throughout the night. Many times -Dice roller winning 3-4 times continuously LOL Overall, twas fun. I will do it anytime

Yeah... i tink we got alot of MJ siao in neighbourhood. This sat i am having an overnighter MJ session. Next Sat i hv noon & evening MJ with 2 different set of friends.

Ystd played MJ till 1am! My very 1st sit down 4 pax play ROFL! Thank goodness i was late only for 10mins... & boss was still having jetlag. Hengz! Guess I was too used to coming to work late, leaving early or not coming in at all for the past 2 weeks when she was away.. heehee... So.. when are we neighbours getting together to play? Im setting it nx fri or sat. Who is in?

Actually I am afraid of de dark! When I was staying w my in-laws, if my hb aint hm, i'd sleep w a lamp on. Of course, I do not sleep w de lights on when my hb is ard. He doesnt work for the army. Not sure why it was cancelled. You may try check w ur hb. Who knows they're from the same reservist camp Half block! Arghhh! If it had happened to me, whole place no lights, i tink i'd fainted. Bought 2 torchlights but my hb said it is too small. I'll buy a big one soon ^^

My hb was due for reservist also in June for 2weeks. I was already thinking abt going to my mom's or in-laws place but hubby said he will come home every day from camp. Somehow, his reservist got cancelled When de blackout happened, I know the box is up there but my hse was in total darkness & i just freaked! Really.. if my keys werent near, i'd prolly be sitting by my main gate lol!

Haahaa... thats y i said.... Must let me know when. Then i will leave door open for peeping! Today my home power tripped & I was alone! Luckily i was in the kitchen & i quickly ran to the main door. The light from the man door was enuff for me to notice my keys on de TV console & I ran to my neighbour for help. My handphones were charging in the MBR & i didnt dare to retrieve in de dark. Neighbour came, turned on the lights. I dashed in bedroom & get mobiles. Then guai2 sat in living room with TV & main door open for 2 hrs till hb came home. Was pretty traumatised & vowed to never be alone at home at night agn! Hmm... guess u missed de chance to peep in during dat 2 hrs

I normally close my doors. The noise from the basketball court can be quite loud... dat is if u combining with the noise from the traffic from my corridor :s My block lay out is L shaped. So I am not facing any units. I'm not really into fengshui tho.

im at 357B. Facing the junction No vulgarities can be heard but cars zooming. Not that bad though, not much dirt cuz seldom open windows. I like my unit v much. Theres a lot of privacy even when im in kitchen with windows open... can cook naked!

Eh what mini bikes? You described it macam like those baby tricycles :x LOL I've got a bike & badminton racket. Plus, I'm home every weekend! Feel free to ask me out! Jogging too please... all that moving & cleaning of new home doesnt seem to help me lose any pounds grrr... A new halal place opened at MRT station rite? Ananas just opened. No idea if its nice.

LOL!!!!!! Ive been busy ma... eg. Picking up a call at 2330hrs from *ahem* neighbour asking if i have contact lens solution & extra case ROFLLL Also been busy asking another neighbour to help buy some IKEA items & tag to his own purchase... What a life saver that guy is! Even to the extent of helping me collect my DVD & 32" TV. *sobz... so touched! Good thg for hving neighbours hor! U guys know who u are *winkz* God blessed me for having wonderful neighbours Updates, been bz entertaining friends every weekends now. Hopefully one day, I will be entertaining my neighbours. Still trying to "feel" my home. Maybe its too big & empty? Maybe its unbelievable I own it? I have no idea... sometimes i feel like its too good to be true.

FINALLY I have moved in!!!! Day started early: 9am HDB guys came to fix new common bathroom door & change rubber for windows 10am SCV guy arrived 1015am Sofa arrived 1030am Singtel guy arrived 11am Boxes fm Tamp SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE 1130am Electrical items arrived FREE TIME 1530 Boxes fm Tamp arrived 1600 New mattress arrived 1630 Ikea guys arrived GLITCHES -Dining table got delayed till coming Tues -Still have less than 10 boxes to unpack -Not enough hangers to finish hanging up clothes -Realised i needed bedsheets. So i ran to Sun Plaza and bought these $220 (after disc of $108) -Wanted to buy wooden clothes pole but have no idea how long is needed Overall, there wasnt any exact timing set. Just the "btwn ??hrs - ??hrs" or "will call before coming on the day". So, I am very lucky that everything took care of itself. To Karen, thank you for being the 1st to welcome me to the neighborhood... esp for throwing a banquet! I was so touched To Kel, a great pal, wheres my delivery service? *winkz

Lol.. everything has already been arranged. Luckily I have family members over to help me. I cannot afford to move in slowly. I definitely need de washer & Fridge but since it is from the same company, might as well deliver the TV & dryer too. Internet is a must.. thats why need the singtel guy to come in. SCV not important but wth.. just come la! Ikea bedroom items a must also.. cuz their delivery timing is 2-6pm (weekdays working) & my Holland friends are visiting on the following weekend. True I foresee a chaotic day but by night when all items are in place, saved for the unopened boxes, I will be one happy gal. Multi tasking - my forte SO.. MJMJMJMJMJ! My hubby also 1 kind... dun wanna throw junks & packing only those that he wanted. He wants to go through at new home instead. Zzzzzzz....
