Wow that must have cost quite alot . i have engaged him for my AD and i hope we get real nice photos! I also went to meet with Coffee and Tea pple, but unfortunately we are looking at animation for our pre wedding video so we dropped them. Oh ya, i think they have a tie up with Depixel for photography.Depixel was our second choice for AD Photographer.

Hi All, Just an update. at the last min, we have decided to go with Peter from Daylight pictures. I was reading someone's wedding blog and she happened to mention her photographer, so i kapo opened the link and saw that his package was within our budget. went on a whim and met up with him last night and my HTB liked the pictures alot. Somemore his company is registered and have more than 12 yrs of exp. heard good comments about him in forums so we made up our minds to engage him! i am banned from looking at other photographers anymore as i am fickle minded and might change my mind again.... ahahah

Hi Andylyf, Thanks for the advice. We are also glad that our search for photographer is over we are still discussing about the extra photographer as we do not have gate crashing.however the extra photographer is only $100 more.Quite cheap right? Dunnoe whether should save that money and use it somewhere else

Good Advice Xinyi_Reiko! Just to let you all know, i have decided on another photographer for my AD. Have chosen Alex from Depixel Photography. Anyone has any experience with him? We chose him as his photos were comparable to the previous one we were looking at but the package is much better. i have 300 photos for my album and all photos returned, plus all photos have touched up! !! so happy that we waited and looked around somemore. Ok, another qn: Do we need 2 photographers or 1 is enough?

My BS from JB mah so will be taking photo in JB, Kota Tinggi and maybe desaru.. if thats the case, will have alot of photos and the chances of buying more is higher. oh dear i must control my HTB and myself must have self control.. eheheh... Must comfort myself that the nicest photo will be nice 50R Photo to hang in my house... then i wun buy so many. One big one is enough hahahaha...

Hey all, we are planning to have a church wedding, followed by tea ceremony at both houses and then dinner with about 35 tables. We cannot choose which photos to make it into the album. the photographer would have the say in that as he says tat they know which photos to choose and which photos to show what. so in that, we have no say in the choosing of photos. As on the rest of the photos, i am not too sure how many would he take. sigh, he is the first photographer we met so din ask all the righ questions and now hes on a overseas shoot, so i have to wait til May to check with him.

Hey Fifi, Lucky you! 400 pics is quite alot of photos. though he is more on the chinese speaking side, i am actually quite comfortable with him. only abit worried that his jokes are too cold for my family and friends!

Wow Diva, that must be a worrying and frustrating experience, on top of all the wedding preparations. I rem reading about it somewhere. you should have done this to him I think why we are in a hurry is cos the good ones are being snapped up even though it s for next year! This photographer was already booked for the 23rd Sept 09 thats why suddenly its our top priority to choose and book our photographer. somemore we have a budget. All have so good lobang : ) I am meeting another photographer this fri. though his pics cannot be compared to my shortlisted one, his package is way better. Just need to either choose quality or quantity. Which would you choose?

Hey all, I not too sure if i misinterpret the package. They states that all images returned, 150 4R photos in album. Does it mean that they would take more that 150 photos but only edit and touch up 150 of them to put into the album but the other images are returned? If that is the case, we still can print it ourselves right? Xinyi_Reiko, are all 300 photos touched up and edited?

Have seen other pple's work and all has come short so far. His name has been mentioned in quite a few forums and feedback was quite good. He is also booked for 23rd Sept next year What you say about more doesnt mean good makes sense. i just need to accept that 150 is ok for me. How many did you get in your package? the rest i have seen are offering about 300 with touch ups. 150 does seem abit too little. Do you often take your photos out to view? Hi All, Is 150 photos enough for a wedding album? My shortlisted photographer is only offering to edit and touch up 150 images for my wedding album and all images will be returned to me. Is this enough? Also he wants 60% for deposit. as my AD is next year, can i neg with him to pay like 30% for booking and nearer to the date, pay the rest? I am afraid that business might close and i cannot get anything back. Please help as this is affecting my decision to hire him. !!

Hey! I din know that. i better call them to check if that is true. I tried on 3 plus sized gowns but all 3 were tube gowns so thats worrying cos they do have my size but the designs are the same. Also, which AD Photographer are you using? i m debating between AMPM Photography and Yew Kwang. i really like AMPM but as they are freelance, they are not registered with ROC so if anything goes wrong, i cannot lodge a claim with CASE. Is it worth it to take the risk? So far, they are the ones whose photos really attracted me.

Hey Fifi, i dun mind at all, shows that we have the same great taste. With the inflation and GST Increases, prices are sure to go up. Actually my shoes cost $59,so i rounded it up to $60! Yup, my htb is the same height as me when i am not in heels so i must be mindful of my shoes' height. i am just thinking of how to keep it clean and new until my AD next year! Hey Xinyi, nice shoes! ya, i was expecting to pay about $100 plus for my wedding shoes, esp when i read about shops like leaping lizards and essex walk so imagine my surprise when i saw the price. so happy! even though my AD is next year, i buy and keep first my mum and sister complimented it so happy i hope to wear it for both AD and PS but afraid it might break or get too dirty in PS. should i get another to play safe? My PS would be in Kota Tinggi and Desaru (I think) so its on the beach or waterfall so chances it might get quite dirty

Care to share your experiences with Venus or any other JB Bridal studios? I have signed up with Venus for my Sept 09 wedding. Anyone have pics of their gowns and make up? I am quite worried about my gown selection as i am quite big sized and cannot wear tube gowns.
