Hi all, I am new here. I am planning to overlay vinyl tiles on my paraquet flooring in my resale apartment. I met up with a few ID and some advised me to hack the paraquet flooring prior to laying vinyl tiles citing reason that the paraquet flooring may be damaged and cause problem if overlay. Some say if the paraquet flooring is ok just some light scratches, overlay is fine. Anyone with paraquet flooring and you overlay with vinyl? Need some honest feedback. Thanks!
