Any brands that boasts themselves being top brands overseas and tries to give impression it'll have same success here .. better open 4 big eyes. Seen too many such cases of people lose money and time. Please understand, items like aircon, they all need a very strong and very vast established networks from supply chains of parts to technical capabilities of people who can service and maintain and repair. All these costs and takes some time to establish. Nowadays, Spore is coming in with exclusive brands like Haier and LG, claiming they are very well established in their own countries and initial costs is cheap. PLEASE BEWARE. Exclusive means only 1 company has got exclusive rights to its technology, parts, equipment, etc. Whoever this company is, they control who does the work and how much is charged. If you've bought their items, good luck. They will dictate when and how and what cost at their own terms. Even if you get some contractors to come service your equipment, when it comes to spare parts, you have no choice but to kowtow. You have no recourse at all. Unlike other common and established brands, if you not happy with 1 contractor, you can always chose from thousands others in the open market. If one contractor bull**** you or give shoddy works, you can go to others and verify. Costs wise you wont be held to ransom, you can choose whichever contractor gives best value for you. There's market competition. These brands operate under a system where they sell equipment only and they want market share. Unlike Haier and those exclusive brands. There's always a catch when someone comes along to introduce you a brand thats not commonly recommended by users.
