  1. Hi everyone. Total noob in home repair here. Is my crack a complex job that require a professional? Or I should be able to repair it myself? I was looking through some youtube videos on repairing cracks on walls and have a few questions: 1. Is my crack consider hair line crack? 2. The cracks is on both side of the same wall. One side is in the bedroom and the other is in the living room. Is my wall considered plaster wall? 3. Do I need a fiberglass self-adhesive wall repair tape? I saw them using it in some of the youtube videos. 4. May I know how long does it take for the compound/"mud" to dry? I was thinking will I be able to do it within a day. Three times applying the compound, waiting it to dry and sanding it down.
