My contractor is doing bathroom countertop. On the left and right sides they laid bricks wall which will be used as support for holding a piece of concrete countertop. And then they will overlay solid surface on top of it. My contractor said it's normal and okay to have such holes on the bricks/concretes. I don't buy that, it feels like a shoddy work. What is your expert opinion? Is it really ok?
