yah... cos my speakers wires are at the console suspended top, so the only way to get the wiring"into" the feature wall is to drill 2 holes on the top of the suspended... but it will look even more ugly... and if i were to change into a bigger sound system... (meaning those floor standing ones) the holes at the suspended top cannot b touched up le... so in the end i juz leave it tis way, but wrap it using the flexi trunking... at least its black... not very noticable... i hope... haha... the sofa... not really... but dont wear jeans or shorts that will "stain" the sofa bah... and normally wat i do is do spot cleaning every fortnight... then apply a layer of leather care to preserve it... and cos i have no children nw... so its still not tat bad... haha... if u do have any children... better dont get it... cos children's feet are always dirty... it will cause stain on it...

icic.... haha.... i was still narrowing down, which hse u r at... cos tat side one i think onli left 1 or 2 still not occupied... so i think my guess is rite lor... the one still have the chain one... haha... getting those u know to do for u is, they wont ask u to pay in advance, at most oso start half way then take a bit from u to buy material... otherwise they will pay first then let u know how much, when done then pay them... and 2nd, sometimes can "bargain" for more... as in u can ask them to help u drill some holes or install some other small things.. for FOC... haha... 3rd, normally they paiseh to take too much of work fee.. or in best cases, they do for free... haha... and juz take material money... BUT pls rem not to pay anymore cash w/o seeing anything done at all... cos human r hard to say... rem the recent Cartier incident?? that guy who took off with more than $7million worth of watches is someone the boss trusted alot one... so REMEMBER not to pay anymore cash when nothing is done yet... unless we r toking abt an amount of less than $1k... if anyone wans u to pay first then they start work, saying they need to buy materials first, it will b better to go with him and u do the payment with the seller, tis way, whoever is doing it for u onli OWE u labour job, and not purchasing job... its always good to b on the safe side la... unless u die die, and hardcore trust tat guy who is doing it for u... actually i oso long time nv play mj le... haha... its juz tat my sis likes to play, keep pushing mi to buy a table, so tat new year can play.. haha.... i oso not expert la... juz play... like a game... not to win a lot of money one la... relax relax play one... haha...

(its cheaper than if u buy from sea horse outlet!!) but will take 2wks cos the colour i wanted need some time to do... otherwise have to take the default colour, then can 1 to 2 days deliver... anyway, no hurry, as long as b4 new yr can le... haha....

Hi tom, ya, i agree wif u... the prices tat yi sheng offers r very competitive... wanted to buy a bookshelf... but yet to decide... in the end juz buy the mahjong table first... haha... nw on my list left dining chairs and tat bookshelf... mayb b free then go over n have a look.... keke.. actually there r other shops (at west side) for home ones tat r very competitive too, 1) like the lighting shops opposite chinese garden MRT (good service and wide variety) 2) electrical appliances at Jurong West called Kong Tai (but no extended warranty la...) these 2 places i recommend ones!! ok ok... i checked mine le.... its working fine... juz tat 2 days ago when i went up, it was in the afternoon, so the chill water one oso feels a bit warm... think its bcos live at high flr... the water storage tank is at the top of the flat, thus causing the "warm" in the chill water. then i went up again (oso to do cleaning) to check on the water at evening... it was cold le... so i suppose living at high flr will experience tis prob bah...

Hey... strange... tot u have to put the sink there for them to take the measurement then they can do the carpentary?? cos tats wat i did leh... oh yah, and the hob as well... so tat its fitting... but how come ur one is cut (the hole for the sink) first then the sink comes in?? like tat sure got prob one... or u gave ur ID the measurement tat was given to u when u purchase the sink? cos from my ID, he say tat the measurement sure not accurate one, so he ask mi to ask the seller to deliver my sink up first b4 he ask the carpenter in to do the cabinets... haha.... then the HDB might b calling u in the next few working days bah... haha... muz keep hp on hor!! haha....

hey felix, initially i wanted to do tat too... heehee... but wife say BR3 too small if do tat... next time got kids, then a bit cramp... check wif u, so ur wardrobe back is the "false wall" for ur BR3?? cos if construct the wall behind the wardrobe will deginately make it look smaller one....

hmmm... i rem i came across abt this wardrobe along the corridor... the depth will b shallower so hanging of clothes is quite limited and will eat into ur doorway, so u might have to change to a smaller door to compensate it... u can do a rough calculation; the depth of the wardrobe is abt 2feet, so u c for urself how much it will eat into ur doorway bah! oh yah, rem to put 1 to 1.5 inch allowance, cos its always not so zun zun one... haha . u can request ur carpenter to place the rod for hanging clothes one facing "towards ur view" juz like how some fashion shop do when displaying their clothes, and not the standard way of having the rod across the wardrobe. (u get it??) juz some reference fot u!!

hmmm.... ya, tats wat i heard from my sis and cousins, regarding the pri sch thingy... as for sch sch wise... hope my kids can get in next time lor... haha... cos my sec sch is Nan Hua High (fka Nan Hua sec)... onli offer Express and Special nw... and heard tat entry requirement quite high... hai... as for the 9++ one, i had a few of my friends who lives there... and their ID were able to design in such a way tat the odd angles can be utilised as well... so i think it still boils down to whoever is designing the hse bah?? thou the floor area is 110 to 114 for the 5-rm... but somehow it sont seems like tat big... and after some thinking, i come to the conclusion tat its bcos their pipings and elect trunkings r concealed, so tat takes up quite some area of the house le... good and bad for it lor... oh yah, toking abt the airbase, even mi living at my parents' place nw, at JW 5++ ones, especially when nearing NDP, the airplanes like no need money like tat one... haha... very noisy... for 6++ mayb not as bad bah, cos its considered the furthest away from tat airbase, compared to the 9++ ones... hmmm.... most of the time is i tell my wife my decision, then she filter and audit it one... haha... as for our reno... the onli thing tat i bought by installment is my sofa and coffee table set, cos its interest-free and no up-front admin charges... tats y i pay by installment... heehee... cos nw no spare cash in hand... got to wait until EOY BONUS!!! hopefully its fat enuff for mi to buy some other things bah!! haha... at first i oso told my wife tat i wanted to take 9++ one... cos a few of my friends live there... but in the end, thinking of her convenient sake of going back my PIL hse, so end up taking YS estate... but oso quite heng la, cos of the up coming Jurong Development, the 2nd Biz District... heehee... so the value of our hse will definately get affected in a good north price... heehee

haha.... hmmm.... then u better do some research first... think i heard a few of my friends saying tat Maybank actually offer a better int... mayb u can find out more from the bank...(more accurate wat) for my case is bcos my parents live near lakeside... and my PIL is living across the street... 3++ there... heehee.... and some times got to go overseas, so my wifey can go back when i m not ard easily... the other reason is more on personal preference, cos i told my wife, its either we buy the biggest HDB house we can afford (tat is 5-rm, and not EA or EM) or we take 3-rm (the smallest tat we r allowed to buy). reason being, if wan to upgrade from 3 to 5-rm, u can feel the diff (of the floor size), if we were to purchase a 4-rm, then upgrade oso a bit of diff (in floor size), then no pt le wat... then the chance came by when we can opt to buy either the JW 9++ or our current area. under comparison, found tat our YS estate floor area is the biggest... so we took it le lor... heehee.... tats y i say we dont plan to move any time soon... at least not for the next 10yrs bah... haha...
