  3. Carpentry work is up at last... some we like some we dun... so decide to post some pics Bay window that i wanted to straighten the living room and drawers for extra storage space. The front of the drawer not fix up yet. Going to put some big cushion so can sit enjoy the view The view from the baywindow TV feature not finished yet. going to have black mirror and wallpaper. The console is linked to the bay window. The stupid slab of concrete at our MBR. Wife thot of this idea. going fix a mirror at the bottom and can put our watch, coin and misc stuff
  4. Guess Lavender mist will give the room a cozy feel. For mysterious, my wife like the color but i feel it will be too strong for our MBR so we use it for one side of our living. But i read somewhat that purple is suitable for bedroom. But in the end it's still up to individual taste. We also headache over the color and change our mind many times.
  5. Went down today. They fixing up all the lights. and the first coat of the paint is done. some pic to shared. We liked the living room colour, love the BR1 aka mahjong room colour, very cozy. The study room is abit too light.. the MBR is quite cozy also. We used ICI colour MBR colour: lavender mist + silvermist BR1 cappuccino BR2 monsoon river Living room Barley grey + Mysterious
  6. Yeah lor. worse is the TV point is on the concrete slab. Think the "idea" was so can mount the TV there?? maybe the artkie for HDB was feeling bored there day and decided to give us owner a surprise and challenge!!!! If it's a normal bay window height witht the L shaped window, we will be able to look out at the open view... sigh... Well next time got money then do up the toilet again. we not particular about the toilet lol me and wifey already assigned who doing wat. anything doing with rubbish is my job anything doing with cleaning is her job. but got feeling once move in will be all my job False Ceiling The bone Living Room Passage MBR
  7. Wiring is done by the contractor recommend from the ID. But i felt that their price is abit on the expensive side. Lighting Point = $35 SCV point = $95 Double socket (13A) = $70 (this one ex) Cooker/Hoob point = $75 (Need this one?? maybe kena chop) Install = $10 per light (abit ex. think normal is $8) Give me abit of discount after I told him that his price ex compared to the one in renotalk The sofa look nice, now we praying that it will be as good when it's delivered.... Yeah for the view we reposition the SCV point so our sofa will be looking out to the view, if not in the original point I will be looking at and look at by ALL my neigbour on the opp block...
  8. want to check what is the norm for the depth of the top kitchen cabinet. Mine is 35cm but find that it's abit shallow but my ID say that the norm. is it true?
  9. Thks. sianz only certain units got that slab. initial thot it was a normal bay window when we look at the floorplan during the booking stage.
  10. Til date (12 days), the electrical wiring, false ceiling, kitchen cabinet, washing machine base, service yard window, air con trunking all done. Very fast... I think.. first timer. This week first coat painting will be done, lighting will be installed. Some pics of last week work. Electrical Wiring I like it they make it tidy by using the wire loom. Air con Trunking From MBR To BR1 To BR2
  11. But now sweating whether the actual product sent to us will be as good... called them today to confirm delivery in first week of Jul. Well at least the tel no. exist!! They also have very nice dining table and chair that is cover in leather.. wanted to buy but out of our budget. Will update about it. O yeah today bought a painting to hang behind of sofa. Bought it at a small shop at bukit merah called Spark Home N Decor. They got very nice oil painting and print, quite affordable also. Their website http://www.sparkhomedecor.com.sg/ Think they are featured on TV before. Got this at $240... Dim is 120 X 50cm (I think ) We actually wanted to get the white and black sq painting beside it also but decided to buy after our reno is completed. too impluse...wait buy liao doesnt look nice die Dun understand... my MBR also two different colour lei...
  12. Wah how come the pic so BIG and take so long to load!!!!!! Ok try again! picture upload trial and error part 2.. hope this time smaller This is the sofa that we bought...bought it at the recent Living Expo We actually saw this sofa during the last expo and fall in love with it but did not bought it then. But after shopping around, we realised we wanted that particular design.. So we are happy when we saw the same sofa again during this Living home Expo! The sofa is a 3 + 1 seater, small side table AND 7 cushions... yes.. 7 cushion! cost $1499 for normal foam material but we decided to top up another $300 for the pocket spring version as it felt so comfty! We selected black leather for the whole sofa and different colour combo of white and black for the cushions! Now we are abit worried caused we have Never heard of this company, WestPoint before. they claimed they dun have any outlet and usually do more comerical business and only retailed at expo... but we really love this sofa and this is the second time we saw them at Expo so Just Do It! and put down deposit. Now hope everything will turn out fine for the delivery in July........ Hi Cherry I dun have the scan floor plan at home. maybe upload tmr Our place is very small only 90m2... It's a BTO project which we booked 4 year ago!! still cant imagine we waited 4 yrs... when we first saw it, we were abit disappointed at the size but after awhile we get used to it. now it Kinda of cozy (psycho myself to tink it cozy anyway )

Where got bay window so high! sit on it and fall out of the window!! and take up my MBR floor area zzzz going to ask ID to do something abt it. Common toilet Lucky the wall tile still not so ugly... no money to retilesredo the toilet... Kitchen pic Too small dunno how to take.... Mine is a premium four room so only carpentry work to be done. according to my ID, by end june can finish..
