I'm planning an open concept kitchen and am planning to get one of these. Most of my friends overseas told me they are good, but a local contractor who does exhaust ducts in HDB (seems like they are allowed now) told me to avoid them. I'm a bit confused at this now. Does anyone have any of their hoods and what is your experience with them. Also has anyone successfully applied for an exhaust duct to be done in a HDB flat? Thanks
