    heehee.. me also want big bowl on left too haha.. thats why i chose my sink.

    maybe can ask them if the same model can switch the big bowl to left or not. :)

    Hoe kee cannot bargain one. they say fix price. unlike poh joo like what groovygenie say poh joo can discount. i tink i will go take alook nxt time.

    Brand wise may not be the same, Poh Joo's is MN, but design and looks wise it is certainly 99% the same :notti: OEM from same factory probably, just like Elba and Brandt. Did you go the Hoe Kee at IMM or Plaza Sing? Maybe its the location, hence the mark up. Poh Joo is at a shop house in Jalan Besar. Bought our storage heater, a tap, bidets and bathroom mirror with storage from there too, its quality stuff with reasonable pricing.

    I like Poh Joo's service actually. Sometimes, they may be understaffed, but don't be discouraged. Just wait for the opportunity, so far we've been served by 3 SEs at the Jalan Besar outlet near Lavender foodcourt, all are good! :good: Their product knowledge is excellent! I guess Poh Joo is unpretentious with quality goods, we like! :yamseng:

    what is MN? u mean elba is OEM from Brandt? Or was it the other way? hee.. didnt know that.

    wow i didnt know can choose big bowl on left or right. So the same model they may have different placing of bowls. no one told me during my shopping for sink so i only chose what i see.

    err hee.. i went to Jalan Beser one leh. But i can tell u the price for all items that Hoe Kee is selling should be same from all showrooms. cuz i went to 2 showrooms IMM and Jalan Besar and found the same sink selling same price.

    i should let my bf noe :D we can go there earlier to shop and compare price. so far how long have u been using ur items? still good and no rust :) hee..

    i didnt give have more time to checkout other place that day cuz already 5plus and we bought the sink at hoe kee. if more time i wouldav gone to poh joo to check it out.

    then i must go there earlier to and check out and compare my other mixers and hobs and hoods!

    how's the service at poh joo? i quite like hoe kee. but dun like adamas.

    are the oils easy to wash off? will it have scratches easily? so what type of material are there for integrated sink? i think my fren wants to do this sink for her new hse also. she told me her current one leaked previously and got rust after sometime.

    i think doesnt really matter for concrete or wooden cabinet. its still individual preference over these pros and cons.

    for wooden cabinet, if u use undermount, also same procedure.

    - need to remove the kitchen surface (granite or solid surface etc) to replace the sink. no difference from concrete base.

    1. more likely u should consider if u comfortable with the sink edges protrude out? - top mount

    2. or u prefer to have convenience when preparing food at sink -undermount

    3. if u are comfortable with the replacement of sink procedure -undermount

    4.if u want the flexibility to replace sink easily - top mount

    5.for aesthetic reasons? to each's own on which one looks nicer :)

    me is ard 1.6m. So I shld do 36"? but does that already include the solid surface height?

    is there a difference btw concrete sink and kitchen cabinet height?

    tot they should be the same since i using solid surface. its join 1 piece leh.

    Depending on end user's height, 36" sink top height is appropiate for a height of 1.6m person.

    The cooking stove side have to be at least 3" lower if u are using those built in hob leaving enough surrounding space for your wok. (My lousy contractor did not alert me not to miss the height of the steel stand for the wok/ pot )

    u mean my stove must be shorter...but i am using solid surface it should be 1 piece same height.will my stove will be too high :dunno:

    actually its rectangular not square shape as what i free hand drawn earlier. :P

    the reason i didnt want 2 to on is i afraid of glare frm the lights directly on top when i reading newspaper or book. i always find lights glaring when i read directly under it.

    my fren's house with false ceiling n downlights seems rather glaring thats why i chose this combi.

    so i tot if i needed lights for reading while watching tv i will on 1,3 and 4,10.

    if got gathering at hme and need alot of lights then will turn on all 8 or 10 lights(2 and 7 i dun wanna turn on unneccessary if its not too dark). save myself 2 lights worth of electricity :P

    hmm me think very very very long then come out with this combi. hope is it a bit too dark or weird like what u said hahha..

    wonder if we are still able to change it after the electricity guy done his job with the false ceilings and lights up and sway sway discovered it is not really feasible?

    wow didnt noe nova got such bad reviews.. we went last thursday and there was a sales guy named billy who served us really well. altho we ddnt buy anything at all. he didnt sound pushy. he can go on and on explaining many many things abt the sofa.the inner fillings etc.

    we tot the deals are good..something like 600 to 1000 discount for items that they are gg to clear away to bring back to msia warehouse during GSS so they can sell at super discounted price if we want to buy on the spot. as they save ono transport back and sell in msia with Ringget.

    me getting my ID to help me get a system3+1 fujitsu non inverter deal after getting advise from courts sales.. duno good or not shld be quite okie bah. didnt want to spend time liaising with aircon ppl so ask my id to recommend one for me.

    oh ya and gain city service at amk is super lousy...we went there 2 times...both times they ask us to wait but didnt serve us at all. many sales standing ard cashier chitchatting though.

    i wonder is it becuz they are not sales commission based?

    wow! nice! i never noe that beams on ceiling can be hack!?!!? should have ask my ID to apply to hack it for my house. strangely, all the ID that I talk to never once told me or suggest to me it could be hacked. then i wouldnt have any headache with the false ceilings. so disappointed...:bangwall:
