Thanks Snoozee and all - looks like the increase is due to Covid. If we wait for a while, do you think the prices can go down - like after the Booster and Covid pill, construction workers will be allowed to come into Singapore again. But have no idea why all the raw materials are increasing in price suddenly by up to 50%. Wonder how the Covid affected the raw material prices so much.

We bought a corner terrace about 3000 sq ft a few years back and did an A&A. But the contractor did a shoddy job and left and we could not shift in. So, now we are having to start all over again and are looking for a reliable Builder. Please can anyone advise what is the current cost of new erection. Thanks
