Guys, I have one silly question for those who have storage heaters. Can you get any hot water out from your kitchen tap mixer? Do we have to connect another pipe from the storage heater to the kitchen tap in order to get hot water? Cos I tried mine today but it didn't have any hot water coming out of the tap.

From what I understand when I evaluate laminates previously, there should not be any red clay joining the gaps in between the laminates as the gaps are for expansion and contraction purposes. However, I could be wrong. Regardless, I would advise you to call the laminate company to check it out instead of asking your own contractor. You can always pose yourself as a new buyer. Ha Ha....I don't mind @ that speed too, but let me buy more track shoes from Emart first with my credit.

To replace doors cheaply, I personally recommend Yontat, located behind Eunos MRT. Trust me.....they have much better door designs than what is posted on their website. www.yontat.com.sg

I have gotten the Darco ANT-100, but I still cannot receive the HD5. Anyone else facing this problem?
-
I agreed that luckily no one is hurt. For me, I'm investing on insurance instead of security system. Am looking into several policies now from different vendors.
-
No antenna given leh cos they said Samsung phased that Darco antenna (ANT-100) out due to complaints that cannot receive the signal too as it's only 1 m long. I'm still trying to get them to give me an antenna as it's part of my package. If not, they will have to "compensate" me with other items then I go buy a better antenna. Any other antennas to recommend? In addition, I also cannot tune to the free preview channel. I called Starhub and they said the signal turned on date is about 2 month's time.

Is it? My side now all covered up leh.....think a few other Bedok North areas also covered.

I think we also need a covered walkway to Shop N Save as well as towards DBS. If raining heavily, very jialat!!!

Jovi dropped by this afternoon & confirmed no pipe leakage in my unit. However, she also cannot give a confirmed explanation on the damp walls. What's worse, some walls are turning moldy liao. Cannot imagine about those walls behind my built-in cabinets. Sighed!!!!!
-
Currently it is very chilling windy as this is the north-east monsoon period. It will last till about end Jan - mid Feb and thereafter a hot 3 months.
-
Good mah.....then don't have to on our aircon!!!
-
Nope, I do not know the outcome. I did not ask as I'm more concerned with my damp walls.
-
It did happened...cos the Bedok HDB Technical officer came to my place to take a look @ my damp walls right after the meeting @ about 8pm. Based on his experience, looks like my unit is in pretty bad shape. He suggested to do a pressure test which neither my ID, nor HDB want to bear the costs! Some pics of my damp walls (which I think you have to click into imageshack in order to see clearly!)

I noticed a big difference when I opened my windows. With the windows closed, it is really very quiet. As I have not started staying in my unit, I cannot comment on the MBR noise issue.
-
But mine there isn't any cracklines @ all...only small bubbles of less than 1mm in diameter (or even lesser). It is appearing on almost all the walls including the 3 bedrooms near the floor skirtings. Btw, which part of the MBR wall did you face this problem?
-
Nope, not burst pipe as no drilling done on the areas where the dampness appears. I googled and it could be water-proofing not done properly. Moreover if my pipes are burst, there should have been more water seepage.
