Need Help In Home Entertainment System (sound Bar)

Hi Rumi, I think the Philips one also have wires connecting to the subwoofer as it's 2 separate items. The Teac one that I like is all in one. You can go to Funan Challenger to take a look. -
It's valid for 3 or 6 months I think. But even expired, can reapply online. Not too sure FOC or not though, but should be part of the package lor..... Who????
-
No idea..... Also don't know if you should call to ask or not. But I think what you can do now is to ask your contactor to apply using the current date lor (Cos HDB won't know when you move in mah!). For my case, in addition to the display of the reno permit, I also receive a stack of papers from HDB directly stating the terms & conditions of the reno permit & blar blar blar.....
-
Ya, if you do not have a valid reno permit and you are caught doing reno, that is illegal, even if the contractors have a valid HDB license. Just $3K? Your granite is for the whole house or just the living room? If whole house then it's extremely cheap! I originally wanted to do granite for the whole house (minus those wet areas), but was told that I would have to pay @ least $20K extra (even Ciseern too).

The space of my living room (or rather the way I partition it) is about 3m by 3m. I have heard of Yamaha YSP, but overall comments is that they are not lasting. Reason for Teac is they are cheap for full fuctionalities of DVD player, in-built subwoofer, IPOD player, and Sonic is becos they are really very dirt cheap. Nevertheless, I will try to pop by Aldephi either Sat or Sun to check out that place. -
My personal recommendation is not to use Shalom. I have bad experience with them when my company shifted office last year. Though they are very efficient, almost 30% of our furniture are either scratched, wheels drop off, cracked, etc.

The tiles that you have chosen, are they considered as stone or granite? Are they expensive?

Vince, Thanks for your advice. However, if you can only choose between the Teac & the Sonic Array 2000, which would you choose? For me, I do not have the luxury of space to put all the speakers of a proper 5.1 around my living room. As such, I can only choose to have the "best among the worst". -
Please refer to the below-mentioned hypelink should you require any form of electrical works. Also, please ensure that the Form CS/5H is submitted to our HDB Branch Office for endorsement and arrange with SP Services Ltd to test the new wiring by the electrician. http://www.hdb.gov.sg/fi10/fi10205p.nsf/WP...ks?OpenDocument The Form CS/5H can be downloaded via the following hyperlink http://services.spservices.sg/forms/form_cs5.pdf

Anybody got any comments on the Teac soundbar or even the Sonic Array 2000 soundbar? Philips is too expensive for me to buy & Samsung is sucks. I'm not an expert on soundbar, but basically I feel that the Sonic Array 2000 soundbar sounds better that the Teac, but I like the Teac all-in-one functionalities. Please comment.....Thanks. -
There are things which you can try, and there are things which you should leave it to the specialist. Electrical stuffs are best left for electricians to settle unless you want to risk burning down your new house.
-
Water dispenser? where? You can check with your electrician on how to change or even if can change.
-
Well, that's what I have learnt from SAF which disallow WD40 on vehicles & machineries as it will get rusty again much easier.
-
WD 40 is a strong rust remover & in the end, it will also remove your protective layer. In the end it will still turn rusty again. My advice, live with it.
-
Can you upload your floor plan so that we can all advise you better? Trust me, be it 3 rooms, 4 rooms or 5 rooms, all of us are aware of the odd design issue of our LG units. Beams and pillars everywhere is not just the only problem. There are lots more...... So technically speaking, it is incorrect to say 4 room layout wil not have such problem at all.
-
Pros - Cheaper than electric Cons - More dangerously than electric Btw, just curious if you notice the search function available? (No Offence!!!)

Anything wrong with the rack?
-
Meaning, they will have to cut a hole via the board instead of any other parts of the wall for the trunking to connect the gas pipes to the outdoor unit.
-
What I understand from my aircon guy is that the trunking can only enter the service yard via the "board" below the window. All other form of entry is illegal. You might want to check it out first.
-
Meaning HDB provided ones are of cheapo material? Ha Ha Ha....
-
I just ransacked my place and found something like the olden tap head (bronze in color) in a transparent plastic. Not sure if this is the "key".
-
I don't have such key. I recalled when I first opened, there are 3 pkts of the SCV cables.
-
I just called Jovi and she confirmed that there are a total of 3 drain pipes. The first one is from the MBR toilet to the aircon ledge. The second one is from the heater to the MBR toilet (outlet is near the MBR toilet bowl). The third one is from the conceal pipes to the service yard. According to Jovi, the first and second can seal, but the third one cannot. This is because if there is any pipes that has a leakage, it will be leaking out to the service yard. So, my advice is to re-route that drain pipe to somewhere else if you are intending to use that area for sink cum cabinet like me.
-
Hi, I need some help from anyone who is currently staying in LG. I saw 2 drain pipes (connected to the wall) in the MBR toilet. On of them is connected to the aircon ledge outlet. The other one is located near the MBR toilet bowl. Can anyone please help me check if there is this drain pipe in the common toilet? Cos I just check and suspect my tiler sealed the drain pipe of the common toilet accidentally. I suspect this drain pipe of the common toilet should be either on the left or right bottom of the toilet bowl. Thanks.
