  1. Dear fellow friends who are currently looking out for furniture, Pls beware of a local well known furniture shop, NOVA. My bf and I went to the furniture expo on 3rd May and was scouting for an ideal sofa and coffee table. We combed thru the whole expo and finally ended up in Nova booth area. The elvated coffee table attracted us and the sales did a amazing job in explaining and demonstrating to us on the various type of elevated coffee table. We even ended up getting a 2 seated sofa from him. And as the sofa needs some form of customization (needs 2weeks), it was promised and stated in the invoice that the delivery for both items will be done on 20th May (even though the table was mentioned that there is ex-stock). Thinking that this is an acceptable date, we accepted it and eagerly looking for the new additions to our newly renovated house. My bf even took leave on that day to be able to rec’d them. On 15th May, the sales called and feedbacked that delivery cannot find allocation into the container for delivery. Shouldn’t there be prior arrangement on the delivery? Anyway, taking into consideration that we are pleased with what we bought, we accepted that delivery can only be done on 21st May 1-5pm and indicating that the logistics dept will call 1day before to confirm on the timing. My bf then changed his leave to be on 21st. However, a series of unprofessional delivery and after sales service was been experienced on 21st. No call on the day before from the logistics dept to confirm on the delivery day timing! My bf had to call on the same day 11:40am and only get to know that the delivery will not be from 1-5pm but 5-8pm! Isn’t this unprofessional and caused people to took leave to wait in vain? Reason that our order was overlooked and no delivery was allocated! Isn’t this a contradiction of been told that there was no allocation into the 20th container and they had arranged the delivery on the fact that allocation was been done on the 21st container?!?!?! And should the customer be penalized on the fact that our order was overlooked?!?!? The coffee table (that was supposed to be ex-stock) was just been informed not able to deliver together! Shouldn’t that be ex-stock at the point we purchased and reserved for us??!?!? Shouldn’t there be prior notice rather than on 21st May itself?!?!?With all these unpleasant, totally unacceptable and complete unprofessionalism encounters with a well known furniture shop, NOVA which we in the first place were so pleased with the design and functionality in the sofa and coffee table, had totally damaged the image we had and utterly disappoint a consumer. What make situation worst is that after my bf stated that it is unacceptable on the fact that he took leave and delivery can only be made in the evening, the sales promised that delivery will be done by 3-5pm. Then when it comes to 5:27pm, there are no sight on the GREAT NOVA delivery. He sms the sales again (apparently he is sick of calling) to inform that the delivery is not here yet, no response till 7:24pm. At the meantime, I have called the headquarter and was been told that due to rain, the delivery got to load the sofa slowly and drive slowly. The delivery can only be made by 6pm. COME ON! This is total CRAP! First my bf was been told that the sofa will need to move from the front of the truck to the back and hence there is delay. NOW there is another story saying that sofa is only been loaded? So was the sofa been loaded in the first place??!? Moreover, at that time (5:19pm), the area was not raining at all!! Why in the ****, the driver needs to drive slowly. Obviously this is just another excuse from the GREAT NOVA… This is not the end… A logistics CS called my bf at 5:41pm and told that the delivery can only be made 6-7pm due to the same reason that I was been told earlier. 10mins later was been told it will be by 7:30pm then 5mins later called to inform it will be before 7pm. COME ON AGAIN! Is the timing as hard to predict as the weather?! Even weather forecast had some form of accuracy and doesn’t change like an old “menopause” woman temper! Timing changed again huh?!?! From 20th to 21st, from 1-5pm to 5-8pm then to 3-5pm and now by 6pm to 6-7pm then by 7:30 then 7pm, is this really what a customer deserves?!?!?! Those who been a customer before (am sure all of u does), is this the kind of service that you expect from a renowned local furniture shop??!?!? It is stated in their website. To think this is put in public and in media and what the customer are getting is a total opposite of what they have stated, this paragraph should be taken down. This is so undeserving for a customer to experience on. Hence to all my dear friends who are looking for furniture, I didn’t write this lengthy review because I got nothing to do or I want to smear NOVA reputation. I just want to be truthful to pre-empt and warn the type of service you will get from buying the beautiful and functional furniture from NOVA. This is really disappointing to know and will be my first and LAST time that I dare to buy products from them and request for delivery service. All the anticipation of the ideal furniture which we thought we had got, was disgracefully damaged by the “services” we got from just wanting to get the products we paid for and made prior arrangement with NOVA, the GREAT NOVA. Why the GREAT? Cos they are not putting your customers into priority, your mistakes and overlook is their priority. So they are the GREAT NOVA. Friends, pls be aware on the experience you will go thru as this is all invisible when you see the GREAT NOVA aesthetically product but TERRIBLE & UTTERLY DISAPPOINTING service.
