Where Should I Place My Matteress?

I'm moving into a rented apartment soon and as I'm only staying there temporary, I will just be putting the matteress on the floor. The landlord has hacked 2 rooms into 1 for the MBR and the layout is as follows:-

There's nothing wrong with heads facing west. Just superstition.
