What The Different Between All Water Heater?

Are there 3 main stream? namely

1. electrical water heater

2. electrical water heater storage tank

3. Gas water heater?

I want a concealed water spray - meaning, i turn left - hot, turn right - cold.

What is that?

Anyway also, what the different between all of the above, in term of efficiencies and power/money consumption.

actually there's basically two types of water heater

1. instant (means the water becomes hot several moments after you turn on the tap)

2. storage (means you got to switch it on about 10min before you shower)

you can either choose one powered by electricity or gas

but due to the numerous restrictions by hdb, only a few models of gas heaters are allowed in hdb flats

anything bigger than 10l are not allowed to be installed in hdb flats

gas is supposed to be cheaper than electricity

for what you want, you can go for either an electrical storage heater or a gas instant heater

electrical instant heater is out as the water is simply not hot enough

i'm using an instant gas heater which is installed at my service yard

it supplies hot water to my two bathrooms and kitchen sink

all using a mixer so you can have hot/cold/warm water depending on how you turn the tap

Thanks apple. A few question

1. the gas heater expose to sunlight and stuff like that? or conseal into a storage area.

So the bath room will not see the "water heater"? Only shower head? right?

How does the gas comsumption come into place. When i on my tap? or i must on the water heater?

yes it's exposed to sunlight, but it's too far from the windows to get splashed by the rain

yup the water heater is installed in the service yard, so only the hot water pipes are ran to the bathrooms
