anyone doing/has done reno for a resale 5rm point blk unit?? hw much is your reno?? & scope of work?? as mine is a 20yrs old unit & has only 1 owner since day 1, my quotation is rather high. don't know isit bcos will be hacking down some walls & erecting new ones(partition & hollow blk), thats y its on the high side...

mine is also in quite a bad state too. went on tues nite to 'inspect' it wif my ID pax. total quotation wifout(air-con, elec, furnishing) is 70k. tink the disadvantage of getting a 'old' resales unit is need to spend more on reno.

i dun hv it wif me nw. but will b doing up the whole hse xcept 2 comon bedrms(which wil b doing parquet, false celing, window & grilles 4 these 2 rms nia). the rest all will b done up. think mayb bcos mine is ID firm, tats y more xpensive. think 'contractor' firm wil b cheaper....

Mine too a 5I Pt Blk.. abt 23yrs old liao. Cost me abt 32k in all. Plus foc gifts. We didnt do the feature wall or tv console. Have to hack dwn living n dining wall tiles which is costly.

Mine a 5A 132Sq Mt, 12 years old flat in Bukit Merah.

Had checked with ID cost $30K for simple renovation without doing window grill or replacing tiles,mostly carpenter work. Quite X, right?
