Hi guys, has anyone heard of collective designs?

I went to them because of a friend recommendation. They have another company called Mudian which specialist in carpentry.

They are professional so their price is also high.

When my home was completed, other than Mudian quality, I thought the rest of the quality was normal. They provide standard 1 year warranty for their work. Initially I thought they will be just like any ID where once work is done and paid, it's the last time you see them.

But they are not, I was very impressed with their after sales service. They will come and fix them when you call them. My wife called them numerous time as she is very particular on details and they will always come. I have not encountered this with my past ID. It is through some of the servicing that I got to learn from their contractor that Collective insist them to use specific brand despite its more expensive. Eg. Switches, for soft touch effect they use Schneider. Marble floor they insist contractor to put some coating protection. These contractor also serve other IDs too that why they share with us difference between Collective and other IDs.

My renovation is close to 1 year now. My wife noticed that the bath room glass silicon did not grow any algae. We had that in our previous place.

We concluded that they don't cut corners to make more margin and that could be why they are expensive. If I have the money, I will probably go back to them for peace of mind.
