There you have it. for your budget, I can recommend you to get brand new speakers & a compatible 2nd hand amp. Speakers to recommend - wharfedale diamond & definitive technology (esp the proCinema Series) 2nd hand amp can be procured at xtremeplace.com where sometimes upgraders will sell their audio wares.
