Good quilt is a good investment - I bought from Taka - think it was a 600 thread count - super comfy.. good duvets will put you off at least 150 bucks... but its worth every cent..

Are you looking for a quilt or quilt cover? If you are looking for budget quilt and cover try Carrefour (Saw KingKoil there) or maybe even Tesco. If you are looking for better quality (pricier), then try Aussino, Taka, Isetan, Tangs, Robinsons... You know, the usual suspects...

I bought my silk quilt from Aussino during last year F1 period, king size after discount was about $120-130, I don't really remember.

Is it really 'Silk' or cotton using 'Sateen' (not Satin) weave... Silk for $100+ is very cheap... btw, I realised aussino's prices are not very cheap, if robinsons or taka got promo, you can get very high quality beddings at very affordable prices - if you wait for after Chinese New Year - sure got clearance sale!

To be fair, cannot compare someone's sales prices to another person's normal prices right? Robinsons/Taka also very expensive during normal times, and Aussino also very cheap during sales...

I was at the Aussino sales recently at PSA Building: 600 threadcount fitted sheet at $35, quilt cover at $50, certain normal bedsheets at $9, bath towels at $2, etc. So happy I buy until $300+ (not just for me lah, for friends and family) and got 3 membership cards...hehe!

Bath towels at 2bucks! too bad I did not go down, else I would grab a dozen which would last me couple of chinese new years!

by the way 600 threadcounts fitted sheet for $35 - that's good value... maybe I have lost touch, the beddings market has really gone very competitive!
