Waste To Remove Tiles And Fixtures For Bathrm And Kitchen?

Recommended Posts

I will be purchasing a new hdb unit that comes with finishings such as wall tiles and flooring, including toilet bowls and what-have-yous.

You know the usual white tiles and stuff.

Is it a waste of money if I take it all out and redo my own design?

Or should I just stick to what they gave me and work around there?

If you're me, what would you do?

Maybe can paint it? That's what my friend did for her flat, looks pretty good and already more than 5 yrs still good.

Would like to know is it possible to overlap the toilet tiles? Me also thinking of re-do my 2 toilet. Anyone know is it possible?

not advisable to overlay over hdb tiles. hdb tiles are known to be of poor workmanship and have a tendency to "pop" after some time. If you overlay it, when it pops, your new tiles will be affected too.

Hello,

I don't think it is possible to overlap the toilet tiles or good for the toilet. I think better idea is that first you remove all the tiles of the bathroom and after that insert the new tiles.
