Hi,

Did anyone do any extras for toilet renovation under the HDB's Home Improvement Programme like adding own vanity cabinet and shower screen etc? Care to share your experiences?

Our unit in AMK is also undergoing MUP now and they just started last week. 8 more days to go .

We have asked the HDB contractors to replace the toilet basins with our own which comes with the vanity cabinet and they were ok with it. They were even able to cut the cabinet so that the pipes are able to be hidden in the cabinet. However, this will only be done later this week. Hope it will turn out fine.

As for the shower screen, you shouldn't have a problem if they were already installed before they hacked the toilets. They will put back whatever they have taken out and you can replace a new one for them to install too.
