Cooker Hood For 30cm Hob

Recommended Posts

Planning on having a 30cm induction hob and realised that the choices of hoods are limited as most are 60 or 90cm.

Found some 90cm hoods that will look as good when paired with a 30cm hob.

I'm inclined towards the Brandt hood but the Delizia is tempting with its higher power and lower price. Anyone has experience with Brandt or Delizia (from Mayer) to share? Are they as good as they claimed? Any other recommendations are also welcomed.

Delizia DZH 519 IX $899

o 90cm glass chimney hood

o 1060m3/hr extraction capacity (some websites state only 900m3/hr)

o 3-speed setting

o Aluminium filter

o Halogen lamps: 2 x 40 W

Brandt AD 789 XE1 $1099

Actually, all cooking hoods are the same. You need to clean them regularly if you want them to perform...minus the oily smell.

FYI, the higher the air-flow rate, the noiser it will be. So if you chose Delizia, it maybe noiser than your household vacuum cleaner.
